I'm surprised I didn't hear about this when the movies came out. I read almost all the books when I was a kid and watched the TV show but I haven't seen the movies yet

I never really had any interest in the movies, but I didn't think they seemed very good from the previews and whatnot. You should try the new TV show at some point, though! It's not an anthology, but I thought it was pretty good for what it was.

I've been crazy about Goosebumps my entire life, >.< . I have a high quality replica of the Mask from Haunted Mask 2 that's one of my more treasured possessions that I got just last year, so my love for it is alive and well.

It's tied to some of my more favored childhood memories, so it'll always have a place in my heart.

It's based off of the Phantom of the Auditorium book, which is actually pretty fitting, >.< . I don't think it's in production anywhere right now, and there seems to be no way to watch a recording, but there's a soundtrack for it on Spotify. I'm not usually one for musicals, but it actually has a few high quality songs (but a lot of meh ones); The Story of the Phantom and Understudy Buddy are ace, and Watch Your Step is pretty good, too.

If you find the idea at all interesting, I'd recommend giving it a listen.

It depends on how limited the item in question was. If it was produced in large amounts, the chances of it being worthwhile aren't high... but if the quantity was limited, that's different. When few were made, someone who didn't get their hands on it but still wants it will inevitably shell out higher amounts of money if you resell it.

I think my need for attention comes from a similar place, >.< . It's hard for me to keep myself occupied on my own (in an entertainment capacity or especially a productive one), and getting that outside input takes the burden off of my shoulders a bit because I'm not the only person bringing something to the table (ideally).

Also, do meds help you at all?

Like... I think a lot of the purely depression symptoms have been tackled. Years ago, I would cry multiple times a week and physically abuse myself... but I don't do that anymore. I still grapple with a lack of interest in doing things or even doing basic things to take care of myself, but I've come to realize it's not rooted in a depression capacity. I've come to realize that most of what I do is out of needing some sort of excitement or buzz, like my binge eating (which feeds my bulimia) or gambling. I need a lot of stimulation and can't bring myself to care about things that don't bring it to me, and I realize how much this has actually been a problem across my whole life, <.< . It makes me unable to commit to anything that doesn't produce immediate results, and that is extremely unhealthy.

My shift in attitude comes from being reasonably sure that a lot of my remaining issues might be able to be tackled if I can get on some meds for ADHD, <.< . I always kind of suspected having it, and after I talked to my therapist about it, I started to feel like it might actually help me a lot. She thinks I have it, but since she doesn't have the technical capacity to diagnose it, I'm mostly just waiting to get to see someone who can...
