You can still download the games you purchased through the eshop, you can't just buy things there anymore.

Is that true? I swear last time I tried I couldn't redownload my wii games. I'd do anything to redownload Paper Mario again but last time I tried I couldn't. If I'm wrong on this I'll happily admit it and be happy for being able to redownload Paper Mario rather than being forced to subscribe to the N64 games on the switch.

Not seeing a point. I already made the concession of less power when I got a Switch, in exchange for the convenience of mobility, and exclusives. More power on the underpowered device, only for it to still be the underpowered device, seems pointless.

It's still an upgrade meaning games on the new console will be better than ones on the switch. That's still a win. If your only criticism is "it doesn't have the same power as a console the size of a suitcase" then yeah you are right but that's not why I bought a switch. I bought a switch for the games and haven't been disappointed. If power if your number one requirement get a PC.

It's a great game even if you ignore that tbh. Babies first souls like I've heard it referred to is right on the money. Exactly what I hoped it would be.

It's great cause I've lost weight because of it but eating was one of my favorite pastimes! I can probably eat half of what I used to eat before getting so full I can't eat anymore.

Considering Nintendo have a history of shutting down their stores making it impossible to download previously purchased games forcing you to pay for them again SD cards are a must to make sure you never lose access to games you've paid your hard worked money for.

It's a great game.

I have a PS5 and Switch and I've had to buy multiple controllers for both due to issues.

Stick Drifting and Buttons Getting Stuck.

While my SNES and PS1 controllers are still going strong almost 3 decades on.

It wouldn't be such an issue if they weren't so bloody expensive.

The game looks to be doing great. Sorry you are upset at dropping $600 on a PS5 for it to be disappointed. I'd be upset as well if that were me. Good news is most people are loving the game.

Love Tiberium Sun as well. Playing as NOD and being a turtle like a mad man and using artillery to slow expand my area of control on the map.

We've got 3 rescue's at home and I'd be broken if anything happened to any of them. The last time I cried was when our first cat died suddenly out of nowhere when we'd just moved house. Lost elderly relatives and friends but the cat going was the only one that made me ugly cry.

We'd been in our first house for less than 48 hours and it was the first time he came downstairs on his own. He sat on my wives knee purring away and the next thing he's gone. Vet reckoned some sort of heart issue or an brain aneurism. He was only 4 ffs. So I get how devastating it can be.

I know it's implied but just thought I'd be the one to ask as no one else has. Assuming the cat didn't make it? If so I'm so sorry. At least with traffic accidents it's usually an instant death so shitty as it is there's a small solace in that and at least you know what happened. I know you don't want to hear it now but there are plenty of rescue cats out there who need a good home and hopefully in the near future you'll be in the right mindset to look after another little bundle of joy. Sounds like you still have a lot of love to give.

I think I like the base building as adjacent to the core gameplay. Ideally something like Ni No Kuni 2.

The homestead stuff. You might call it something other than base building. Happy to take recommendations if there is a better name.

Don't be so sure on that! 7 day average which takes into account lower traffic on the weekends is showing a dip again. It's only marginal but it's there. I think a good figure is going to be comparing the monthly averages for April and May at the end of the month!

I might start tracking users using the site as well if anyone is interested in that.

Dips into it from time to time. Theres more time spent on the track / route than anything. Its mainly just the socio political stuff like the film tbh. Sean Bean is fucking great though. Worth it for him alone tbh.

Yeah it has an ending. I think possibly they had to finish it one season early but the last season 4 has an ending according to the writers.

This makes sense. I got purged about three months ago and all my other accounts got hit at the same time. Seems a purg means all your accounts on your usermap get got.

Which tbh kinda makes sense. If you arent meant to be visiting the board then having alts is a way to get round that. Logically it makes sense. It also means if you get purged on CE you are DONE.

Do people who talk about propaganda not realize that they are falling victim to it as well? Of course Israel didn't accept the ceasefire, the ceasefire was meant to be un-acceptable, so that way Israel can be accused of rejecting it and attacking anyway.

A genuine ceasefire would be amazing but what exactly did Hamas offer them in exchange for getting everything they want? A promise that they really really definitely won't attack this time, oh yeah, and also get rid of the blockade? Does anybody really believe that Hamas was not going to attack again? Israel would have to be fools to think that that was a genuine cease fire, and since it seems Hamas decided to accept a ceasefire offer that didn't even exist, their tactics are pretty obvious and everybody here falls for it.....

I want peace there, we all want peace there...I have no idea how it's going to happen, but that ceasefire 'deal' was definitely not the way.....not even to mention that they were demanding a 50-to-1 prisoner-to-hostage trade. But even beyond that the other terms were nonsense.....Nobody would have accepted that.

Yeah I agree tbh. People criticise Israel propaganda and rightly so. But from my experience Hamas propaganda isnt held to the same level of skepticism by some people.

You can see it in the main topic where random tweets are taking at face value and you arent allowed to even question the validity of them at all without being labelled a genocide enabler. Truth is the first casualty of war and this applies to both sides. There are some great journalists pointing out the horrors in Gaza that undoubtably taking place but people should learn to keep their critical thinking skills active and not just accept anything that comes out just cause its your side.
