I regularly go to trivia nights, the gym, and volunteer at cons and my local indie theater, and I still enjoy the interactions I have with random people I follow online.

I mean I have a family. Wife, two kids, work, real life friends Im able to have positive interactions online, but I dont NEED it.

Its had some good things, but many bad. And the bad will be hard to determine. The advancement is too fast for any type of study.

Im not saying its wrong to learn the language and I am learning the language myself, but I can totally see why people dont, especially in the modern day. You talk of convenience but having to learn a language is itself quite convenient, and I know many people who have lived here for over a decade without ever learning more than a couple of words of the local language and its really not caused them any problems.

I guess if youre going to live in some settlement or whatever where you will literally never meet anyone ever who doesnt speak your language, then whatever.

i couldnt imagine myself moving to a country and never being in a situation where Im like wtf I didnt understand a word of that because I didnt AT LEAST learn very basic of the language.

Whiteness isn't really a genetic thing at this point. White is whatever people want it to be, which is generally a tool to exclude certain people from the in group.

For example, 3/4 of my grandparents were white. I would be considered mixed race or black, depending on which person you were asking. Funny enough I'd never be considered white despite my genetics.

The amount of violence required to "tighten down" on the border is not feasible, as either an ethical or a practical matter. As the climate crisis gets worse, there will be ever more refugees from countries that have been ravaged by resource conflicts or rendered nigh uninhabitable by heat. Our solution to that problem cannot be shooing them away by force.

Alternatively, you cant just let anyone and everyone in at all times. A legal process thats not as easy to By-Pass, I believe, is reasonable.

For new ones, I really would prefer that they give them English classes to learn the majority language. I mean I believe that is reasonable. If youre gonna live somewhere permanent, kinda convenient for EVERYONE if you can AT LEAST speak enough to get by. It would be like me moving to a non English country and not knowing at least basic of the language.

Something a science denialist YEC would say, that abiogenesis is as unlikely as "God done did it". Abiogenesis is the current scientific consensus, and there is supporting evidence for it. I don't think it's as unlikely as you believe.
