I played it on normal with a friend for a few hundred hours, we got very far and did a lot, but didn't think hard mode would be anything additional besides harder enemies. Hard mode in Terraria is more like "Part 2" of the game rather than just flipping a difficulty setting up (which does also exist). After you beat a certain boss in the underworld, the entire world changes. Older bosses come back with advanced forms, and there are a ton of new bosses, events, and dungeons that unlock. Of course tons of new gear/items to go along with those as well |
