In Ontario it's called the Tsubouchi diet, after former Minister of Community and Social Services David Tsubouchi, had a "let them eat cake" moment in Question Period and said the recipients of social assistance could eat canned tuna after he drastically cut social assistance payments to poverty levels.

That was more than twenty years ago and rates have been stagnant since then leaving the poor and disabled to fall below the poverty line.

I mean thing of all the possibilities that open up if they create some algorithms that can actually predict trends well enough to get the economy robust enough that there is enough wealth for everyone to have a chance at a good and healthy life.

So much trauma and abuse happens in family and sometimes its because people are just being crushed by the weight of capitalism. Take that fear away and some of them remember kindness, usually the type of kindness they knew when they were young but forgot somewhere along the way.

And its from that place that some of the best creativity and wisdom can come from. When those who have forgotten kindness relearn its value or discover it for the first time.

For what? Edward had nothing bad in the anime itself.

The no bones limb waving like what they attempted in that final scene of the live action. Edward was constantly dancing about and it was fine for the anime, but the way netflix tried to to translate it on screen just doesn't work in live action.

I had hoped that a second season would take on viewer feedback and they would not try to emulate the exaggerated anime movements, but moot point now.

It would be like if they made another live action Dragon Ball and had Master Roshi shooting jets of blood out his nose every time he saw a pretty girl.

I've been setting aside some of my grocery money for months to ensure I can pick it up.

The only thing I disliked about it was Edwards introduction, even though it was pretty much how she was introduced in both the anime and the manga. It was goofy then and it's goofy now but somehow it was less endearing in live action then when it was in print or animated.

I sloughed it off at the time because I thought they would have a whole new season to translate it to the screen properly, but then...

My bet is a netflix executive saw what they had planned for Edward on the storyboards for season two and killed it right then and there.

Edward was always going to be the hardest of the crew to translate to the screen but I never thought they would go in that direction. Decisions were made.

That's low. Keep an eye on it, if it starts creeping toward 92% you should go to the hospital. Even at 95%, they have started patients on supplemental oxygen.

I would suggest getting a blood oxygen monitor, (finger pulse oximeter) but they have largely been sold out since the pandemic began. With covid, blood oxygen levels are the indicator for how serious the current infection is.

It really depends on the individual, I've known some really intelligent individuals who never attended any formal institution of learning, but I've also known individuals with advanced degrees that I question how they don't seriously injure themselves getting dressed in the morning.

I think you have to ask: Is this someone who at least makes the attempts to be a better person?

If they are a dumpster fire that goes out seeking gasoline, fireworks and crowded spaces, they are not worth the time, but if they are at least make the attempt to close the lid, find some water or retardant foam, maybe all they really need is a friend who can be there for them.

For some reason when we collectively said we should address toxic masculinity, many males took it as a personal attack against them, and then went on a campaign to recruit others to their cause.

Try to tell that to the average lay person whose understanding (prior to the pandemic) of what a vaccine is, boils down to vague recollections of an explanation given to them back in grade school. Vaccination and Inoculation have clinical differences, and that's separate from how they have been used in society at large; (IMO) had we started off by calling them inoculations against serious infection and death, we could have saved ourselves a world of troubles.

We still would have seen the politicization, but I believe the difference in believed common definitions would have tempered some of the reactions we have seen from the pro-virus crowd.

(I've stopped calling them anti-vaxxers, they have sided with the virus and their descriptor should reflect that stance if only to make it clear they have taken an ideological position)
