I mean technically correct, addiction is an illness, but he was only addicted because his doctors were told the same lie about oxycontin that Perdue Pharma and the Sacklers were peddling to every doctor on the continent. He had a debilitating spinal condition that left him in constant pain (I can relate) and cannabis could have helped him if he could have held on until legalization, but his doctors decided that cannabis was the devil's lettuce and of no medicinal value and that the time released coating of oxycontin would prevent addiction. I don't know how much WB spent on advertising, but it felt like it dried up pretty quickly after release. I have to wonder if any of the executives actually watched (read: understood) the movie, as one of the meta subplots was on the making of the film series as a whole; there is a line in the film where they are talking about the new Matrix game they are producing, that seems a direct comment from Lana about how they are going to take the opportunity the studio is giving them and just run as far as they can with it (I'd have to watch it again to get it verbatim) It seems like the studio wanted to milk the franchise with a fourth movie that no on wanted but Lana saw the opportunity not only to tell several meta stories within the parable of the Matrix, but to get her foot back in the door. | KodyKeir 01/15/22 1:57:23 AM #9 | Back in the 90's I lucked out with a high end Casio that was on sale for a couple of hundred (thank you Radio Shack outlet store) showed it to a buddy of mine who did rigging and backstage stuff for the Stones (whenever they were in Toronto) he was sceptical at first but was really impressed with it once he started playing around with it. As long as you don't go for a really cheap model, most modern electric pianos are fantastic. Total pain in the ass, as you have to find out if any of your programs rely on accessing a specific Java library, (Log4J v2.15.0 or earlier) then find out if the dev is working on a patch for their program. And to complicate matters, they may have patched to v2.16.0 (vulnerable to a DoS flaw) but not patched to v2.17.0 yet But that's just assuming it's the Log4J vulnerability. It could be a man in the middle attack where someone is spoofing your access point, or a myriad of other things.
