He went through cancer from what I remember, I think the chemo aged him a lot. They probably wanted it to look like it still falls in line with the timeline, even though I think they said this is 10 years later.

Still feels like they could let some grey through.

Speaking of that actor, anyone here ever watched Six Feet Under? It's such a good show but it's very slow paced and the tone is depressing.

Started Dexter last night, first two episodes. It's okay, kinda campy and corny but it always kind of was.

Nah. I'm not a sweets person either. More so in the last few years when I've made it a point to cut down on my sugar. I definitely notice a change in how I feel after a slice of pie.

I don't even mess with milk chocolate much anymore. I'm almost an exclusively dark chocolate person.

Yeah my wife and I are still on the fence as to whether we want kids or not. Either way we talked about me getting a vasectomy once we have the kid or decide not to have any.

That's because the mini games are from the first few Mario Party games which were built to destroy your controller. It also has that awful tug of war mini game that's just as hard to win as back on the N64.

Laziness, what would the family think, more cost cause they wouldn't be sharing bills. Pick one and that's as far as l've gotten to figuring it out.

At this point they don't dislike each other, they just sorta whatever each other.

We don't. I haven't been to my childhood home in many years. We see them at Thanksgiving and Christmas. I see my mom a few more times out of the year cause she comes into town for work conferences. I talk to my dad on the phone once a month.

Still unhappily married. They are at a point where they are just roommates living in the same house. They have completely separate lives from one another. I wouldn't be surprised if the 2 hour car trips to visit my wife and I twice a year are the most time they spend with each other.

Yeah I think once you play the game you'll see they did a lot of retro fan service. This isn't just a cash grab game.

There's no SoR4 Skate but his older versions are in the game. SoR3 Roo was added in the free update along with the Mr. X DLC. You need to put in a cheat code to unlock him. Then I think after playing as him once, he stays unlocked on the character select screen.

i don't play mobile games

but the screenshots of ones i've seen online have that same kind of cartoony hand-drawn look, and that's just not what i want to see in retro inspired games. i want to see big huge blocky pixels, lol.

I will say when they first released screenshots of SoR4, it did look like a mobile game. I'll fully agree with that. Final product art was tweaked and looks fine now. Also the characters control perfectly.

You also quickly unlock SoR1, 2, and 3 versions of the characters in all their pixel glory.

I think lvl 27 was my highest. It gets so hard in those later levels even with spamming Shiva's kick.

The Machinist was a real trippy movie. Way more out there than I was expecting going into it.

The Wrestler is an incredible movie. I still remember all the promos and watching Ric Flair balling over it.

I really need to rewatch both of them soon.

I think if you can handle Skyrim, you can get into Witcher 3. I almost bailed on it myself because of the size, but i'm glad I stuck it out because it's a very cool experience. Even as much as I played, there's still a lot I need to do, same with Red Dead 2.

Bad thing is, I think my trigger is just chilling at home with my wife or playing video games. Alcohol just adds to the fun. I don't drink cause I'm upset or stressed.

Twice a month seems completely reasonable to me

It's not necessarily only drinking twice a month. My wife was concerned and said something to me about my drinking on the 18th. First time in the 10 years we've been together that she commented on it. Decided that I wanted to try and be sober the rest of the year to prove to myself that I could manage with no issue. I couldn't do it.

Well I cracked and started drinking tonight. I guess lasting a week is something. That's about how long I generally go for when I take my sober breaks. Maybe after tonight I'll make it till the new year without drinking. One night out of two weeks would be a consolation prize I guess. Considering I didn't tell my wife that I was trying to make it til to new year without drinking Im not too disappointed in myself. Actually if I told her I'd probably have the will to make it til then.

The 8 bit area is a real jump in difficulty.

Parents have left, wife and dogs are asleep on the couch, and I'm playing video games on a quiet Christmas night. Perfect setting for a drink but I told myself I'd hold out for the rest of the year. My body feels annoyed.

I may watch this Cowboy Bebop live action show and then praise the shit out of it on CE regardless if I like it because the anime fans are butthurt over the show.

According to some of the people on CE it was OK so you might not get much of a reaction. If you bring up Netflix's live action Death Note though....

Took 2 gummies and 25 mg of melatonin last night and success I went to sleep. For 4 hours

Melatonin works too well on me. I have to take kids melatonin gummies. I take two 0.5 mg gummies every night. If I take more than 1mg, I'm a zombie in the morning.

I celebrate depending on everyone's availablility. My sil and her husband came over yesterday, my parents coming over tomorrow, and we're headed to my wife's grandparents house on Sunday. We're giving my BIL his presents today. It's all over the place.

That's a good thing. You're lucky you have someone to say that to you.

I love drinking more than pretty much everything, but it's doing terrible things to my health (both physical and mental), but I love it so much.

Addiction is the ultimate love/hate relationship.

I know drinking is messing with my short term memory and giving me grey beard hair quicker but for the most part I don't see noticeable effects. I know it's still affecting me physically even if I can't see it.

While I do love drinking, it's never affected my relationships or career which is probably why I've gotten into the habit of doing it so much. I just handle my alcohol too damn well.

Speaking of addiction, I'm also using this as an opportunity to confirm my body isn't addicted to it. I know I'm mentally addicted to it like a habit. "Oh we're sitting down to watch TV together. Better pour myself a drink.". My body needing alcohol though isn't something I'm cool with. Want to make sure I'm not craving it.

Decided to dry out for a while. Wife made a comment that she noticed an uptick in my drinking and was concerned. First time she's ever said anything to me about my drinking before. That happened on the 18th and I haven't drank anything since.

To ease her concerns, I think I'm going to stop until the beginning of the year at least. After that I'll see how I feel. Last few times I took a break, it lasted a full 7 days. I don't think I've went longer than that without drinking in 3-4 years.

It was. No time limits on the stages, completing objectives often change the environments, gaining xp to level up skills by doing tricks. All things that were implemented by later Tony Hawk games.
