She really grew on me. There's aspects of her character I like more than Dr. Crusher. Granted I'm not a massive fan of Dr. Crusher or anything. Pulaski's "Fuck you I won't do what you tell me!" attitude was refreshing.

This is actually my first full watch of the series. Always saw bits and pieces as a kid. In the middle of S3 right now.

Same. Johnnie Walker Double Black is worth a mention though. What's your opinion on non-Islay scotches? I love Islay but have trouble getting into other varieties. I really like Monkey Shoulder but that's about it.

Honestly I was desperate for a solution. That's the only reason I ever tried it. It isn't that uncomfortable really and you get used to it quick. You control how much pressure you're squeezing the bottle so it's not scary. It's kinda fun to watch the water come out the other nostril.

TNG is very comfortable to watch. Add a nice glass of scotch and it's a wonderful experience.

@CanuckCowboy I spent most of my life having terrible pollen allergies. You know when you feel like there's trash in your nose but blowing never fixes it? Turns out that trash is stuck in these pockets that produce your mucus. This rinse cleans that's out and anything else stuck deep in your sinuses. First time my best friend did it, old dried blood came out. Shit had been stuck in his nose from a nose bleed he had the year before.

This is what I've used for years. Boil some water, let it cool down to your body temp, mix in packet, squirt up one nostril and watch it come out the other. Blow nose then repeat with other nostril.

Ive been stuffed up most of my life tbh. Its rare that I can breathe well through my nose. I think its more like I have a narrow nasal passage than anything else, but also that I produce too much snot or something.

For all you know you crammed something up your nose as a kid and it's given you problems your whole life. You should look into getting a sinus rinse kit. I have terrible allergies and it's changed my life.

I got lost in that place for like 2 fucking hours. The painted ceiling and the angled halls are disorienting af. There's several signs that say exit and then send you to a three way split with no sign to point you out. On the plus side, every time I've been in there they always have some cool art.

Yeah that disorienting feeling is what makes it really cool. I also had trouble finding my way out but I thought it was only because of the free drinks at the vendor party I was at.

Damn dude. Have you ever played it before? The RTS bosses aren't really fun but the rest of it is a blast imo. I spent so much time just riding my vehicle around the overworld listening to the soundtrack. To this day, it's the best soundtrack I've ever heard.

I love me some Star Trek: TNG. Haven't watched anything else.

Not sure how widely available it is but look for Reyka vodka. It's so smooth it goes down like water.

Never worked with Chromebooks before but do they have firmware to update similar to standard laptops? Not updates to the OS but the hardware itself. A buggy firmware version could cause certain ports on the mobo to receive too much power which would then burn them out.

So I bought myself a word burnt etching kit, i'm gonna try my hand at it and see how it goes. I've always been able to draw well, and i'm real patient when working with my hands so I'm gonna see how it goes. If it's not atrocious, maybe i'll post a pic of something I make, but probably not because i'm always way too hard on myself.

People will pay good money for that kinda stuff. A friend got my wife and I a cutting board with our names etched in it as a house warming present. We have it displayed on our kitchen island. Looks real nice.

I'm kind of an achievement whore, it's why I tend to look for games on Xbox first. Got hooked on the system when it first came out and stuck with it ever since.

@MabusIncarnate thats fine man. Yeah I haven't owned an Xbox since the 360. I've primarily been a PS4 and Switch player the last few years. Not sure what direction I'm going to go in this new console generation yet.

I just started the game the other day. The movement feels great imo. I'm also not a big big fan of the series. Played Super and Fusion to completion but that's it.

It's a pain, but also I'm going to get an OLED by trading in my boxed launch Switch and 7 games. Not even Smash Ultimate has depreciated much, so with it, Animal Crossing and some other titles, I'll be able to get it for roughly $70 cash.

They're expensive because they don't depreciate, but their trade-in value stays high.

@MrMallard if you have a launch switch then that means it's hackable. People will pay around $300 for one on eBay. Sell it there instead of trading it in.

I've had their habanero, drunken garlic, and jerk sauce.

Drunken garlic - it's just soy sauce with a heavy garlic taste
Jerk sauce - I love jerk seasoning and it was decent enough. Good to mix in with a couple dishes.
Habanero - Their signature sauce. Thought it had a great flavor but didn't blow me away for some reason I could never put my finger on. Also wasn't as hot as I was expecting for a habanero sauce. Solid 7/10.

Error messages have come a long way in the last 10 years or so. End users don't see these vague errors much anymore. Most of them are very English readable that people just choose not to read or comprehend. Shit happens exactly like TC says.

We had two babies and two young nephews live with us for a few years, so I got a lot of experience with it. That said, I now have 5 that live 20 mins away, and a few others in ATL and I think me and the wife decided that's plenty and we never had one.

We've been busy raising my BIL for the last two years. Wife spent her entire life raising her three younger siblings. Still can't decide if we want kids or not.
