We're talking about a market where the point is that what's traded is difficult to scrutinize and regulate and it's a known phenomenon for owners to 'sell' to themselves to create the appearance of demand and justify their prices. It doesn't matter that transactions are recorded on a blockchain when the record says "Z sold to B" and you don't even know if Z and B are different people. It's a market championed primarily by people with no prior investing knowledge or experience and no formal business or economic education who nonetheless believe they are actively subverting the international financial system because they have a ledger tracking the jpegs.
