We knew before that Giratina was banished to the Distortion World for its violent actions, and people had speculated for years that it was meant to represent the fallen angel of the Creation Trio. But in PLA, they outright say that it's lying in wait for a chance to challenge and take down its creator. There's also the strong chance that it was manipulating Volo, using him to help it achieve its goal in defeating Arceus (though Volo also clearly had his own agenda as well). That final battle against Volo was insane, though. --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. |

My experience with them is SoCal and they don't generally form packs. Maybe a mom and some pups or 2 juveniles but never seen a pack.My sister actually works for Animal Control, and she outright told me that they won't come out for coyotes, and that we'd have to call wildlife control instead. My nephew will be 10 in a couple of months, so hopefully they stay away from him. But as I noted above, between the other wild animals and stray cats, they definitely have food available to them. Maybe that deer I saw as well (though I don't know if coyotes go after deer). --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. |

But during development, the lines were combined, with the original evolutions/preevos lost in the process. Dunno of any other poke with higher base ATK in gen 1 but I'm not exactly looking lolTauros' Attack was only 100, but due to STAB and its high speed (which, back then, crit rates worked off Speed), it actually had the strongest Hyper Beam in the game. --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. |

Most other pseudo-Legendaries got at least one of those. You would think that the original Dragon Pokemon in the series--the Dragon used by Lance and other powerful trainers in various media--would have at least gotten a Mega Evolution. Hell, the Dratini line has even been completely excluded from two games this gen (Sword/Shield until Crown Tundra, and now Legends Arceus). Maybe I'm biased because Dratini's my favorite Pokemon, but why they gotta keep doing my boi dirty? --- I often wonder if we are growing as a people... or in fact, regressing. |
