Yeah that's a shame. I understand a lot of places don't have anyone onsite qualified to hire people. I walked into my current job and started working the next day. Been here 5 years.

The only online application that ever called me back was for a security guard position. The pay was so bad I didn't even bother going to the interview. When I was out of work I applied online for a ton of jobs and was desperate for money. I didn't even get a call from Target and I was a department manager in retail back in the day.

I've never had luck applying online for jobs. The only ones I got were physically going to the company and applying.

Online you're competing with potentially thousands of applicants. You'll be lucky if anyone even reads your resume.

Every single fucking FedEx package I get is delayed. I'm not even exaggerating. It gets stuck somewhere for days until it's at least 2 days later than the expected ETA. That's being generous. My package that was supposed to be delivered on the 12th has been in Indiana since the 12th. I live in MD.

Yeah he was back at that point. The city will give you notices before they take action. Mine will actually clean up the yard and charge you some ridiculous amount per hour. Never heard of them taking someone to court.

If I left at the [right time] with no notice they'd be fucked because no one else in the building would be able to buy things to keep operations going and they'd have to get someone from corporate. Only 2 of us are authorized and know how to do it, so if that person left right before me...

But I've seen a ton of people quit without giving it. I doubt it's worth the company's time to peruse something like that.
