I think the problem is games pretty much need tutorials now because they don't have manuals anymore. Or even if they do no one actually spends the time to read them so they don't need a tutorial. I doubt that will ever change.

However there is no excuse for a game not having the option to skip tutorials.

Neither of those people would vote in support of the same bill if it was being pushed through now. Would Bob Dole? IDK because he was never asked. So you don't know if he was still inconsiderate or if he had a change of heart.

Well, she is probably more like a mercenary. She does get payed for the jobs (except Super Metroid, unless somehow they talked payment when she got the distress signal), but there is no "bounty" really. She is just hired to do missions.

Sometimes I get the feeling Assassin's Creed is the "Make whatever type of game you want" series, just as long as it includes an Animus. Even that gets thrown out the window in most of the side games.

I mean, the series has been Assassination, Stealth, Parkour, Tower Defense, Strategy, Ship Combat, Open World, RPG, Platformer, Collectathon, and probably a million other types I am forgetting.

Well, the term "Metroid" (or at least the "oid" part of it) comes from the fact that Samus was supposed to be an android in the original game. However, that was changed later in development to make Samus a human woman.

I think it was a great game honestly. Top 5? Probably not, but maybe top 10.

People get caught up on what we didn't get and forget that we still got a ton of stuff in the game. I put in 180 hours on just Phantom Pain, over 200 if you include Ground Zeroes. And I enjoyed all of it. If the story feels incomplete, just look up what was cut out, you can see pretty much all of the cut-scenes on Youtube. Personally, I liked what we got and didn't feel the need to look up the extras, even though I have seen them and still say they aren't critical to the story being told.

I don't really think "allow" factors into it at all, she is my wife, not my property. If she wants to go out and do stuff with friends then she doesn't need my permission to do it. That said, I am with someone with the expectation that we are in a monogamous relationship and I expect her to honor that. If she doesn't want to be in a monogamous relationship anymore then I expect her to tell me so that we can discuss it and (most likely) go our separate ways to peruse what we want. If she breaks that trust, then that is her fault and she can't expect me to ever trust her again.

Of course, all this mostly applies to being in a relationship with someone, because I think the concept of marriage is outdated and stupid anyways. I don't need a government or legal entity to validate my relationship. And I certainly don't need a church to do it.

So yea, I am fine with her going out for coffee with a male friend. I just expect that to be all that happens.

Hell, I won't post it, but my resume is just a list of every technology I have used in my career and maybe one or two sentences about each job responsability. Nobody who reads literally hundreds of resumes cares about anything else.

I was honestly looking forward to the remaster because while I don't subscribe to people who say "X game hasn't aged well" since a good game is always a good game, I still think the controls are horrible. I mean, the controls always sucked, but it is just more obvious now that we have more modern games to compare them too.

And, admittedly, even though I love playing with mods, the PC ports are bad and I also don't want to hook up my PS2 again.
