Played up to the second island of GTA3. Did cars always explode this easily? Like seriously, everything is exploding all the time.

Otherwise a fun time, although I forgot how painfully dull the plot of GTA3 is. Literally 'hey, go do crimes' randomly until they either introduce you to someone else you can do crimes for or they betray you.

I think Usopps casting is pretty solid. He looks like a spit for Yasopp currently, so give him the big nose and hair and he should look spot on.

I havent looked into the specifics, but the trailer seemed to suggest that being able to remodel their actual home was linked to doing their holiday home, so should ten of the slots be reserved for your villagers?

I'd agree with Snake on RE6. Only play it if you're really into the RE storyline, even though it's likely most of the plot points raised will never be mentioned again. Also if you can find a friend to play it with and both go in with the right mindset, it's much more bearable.

300-350 hours is still a really long time. Ive been playing MSQs one evening a week since it came out on PS5 at the end of May and am just about to reach Heavensward. Its a big game and I can fully understand being hesitant to commit to it.

Id say this or about 15 years. In 2010 I would have considered stuff on the SNES and Mega Drive retro, but probably not PS1 stuff yet.

That said, I think the definition is definitely going to get blurrier and blurrier with how easy it is to upscale and remaster games now compared to previously.

As far as Marvel goes though... oof. Ooof... Yeah, kinda. Marvel doesn't really mantle-pass at all, and if it does, it's usually only temporary until someone is brought back to life. Laura Kinney is a great example of someone who has taken on the Wolverine mantle, but Logan keeps coming back. Ben Reilly was cool until Peter Parker came right back. Sam Wilson wasn't in the Captain America role long before Steve de-aged and came back. Marvel... really doesn't do Legacy.

Actually, thinking about how Steel is a great example of a mantle-bearer without going supplanting the original in name and powers, Marvel does have a few actually.

* Kate Bishop, Hawkeye

Weird too that the only tyrant we see is Birkin (maybe). No T-002 or Mr X. The latter seems especially weird given how popular he was after REmake 2.

Im genuinely surprised by how relatively positive the reception has been so far. I generally try to withhold judgement until Ive actually seen a film, but this looks like dogshit. The sets, costumes and CGI all look super cheap and its bad enough theyre combining RE1 and RE2, but also changing and adding extra plot on top of that? I just dont see how this can turn out good.

Are most RE fans so traumatised by the Paul W. S. Anderson movies that seeing itchy tasty on a window in blood is enough to get their hopes up?

The point is, the Pokemon dont represent a specific character just that species and the Pokemon series (an argument could maybe be made for the Kanto starters being Reds specifically). Similarly, Steve doesnt represent a specific character, just the player character of Minecraft and the Minecraft series.

Demo dropped on Xbox today, with progress carrying over the to main game. Think I read that a Steam one is coming in the next day or two. If you played the Kickstarter prototype, it goes up to the same point in the plot, but is obviously incredibly different (and took me three hours and that was with skipping most of the sidequests).

Game feels very Swery so far. Lots of things happening with very little explanation and Naomi is just rolling with the punches. I like her as a protag so far, she's irritable, rude and abrasive, but also incredibly naive and an absolute moron who will do anything for money. Already introduced a bunch of side activities too: cooking, gardening, photography, hunting and crafting. And the map is HUGE, like open world big. I was expecting it to just be the village, but it's big enough to need a fast travel mechanic.

Oh, and you can kick the skin off a rat.

One thing, once you finish the demo, you can't reload your save to do sidequests and stuff, as it just loads you back into the final cutscene, so you'll need to wait for the full game before contuining.
