I've never been able to view Carmack highly since reading it. Even when talking about his alienation of the staff, he's still presented as this loner who just had a strict code of conduct. But it's so much more damning to look at it with an outsider's perspective, as well as how treatment of workers in the game industry is viewed today.

Final Fantasy II. It is widely regarded as the worst final fantasy due to the design decisions, but I consider it to be a great game.

It's basically SaGa 0. The leveling is broken, but they transitioned it to those games and improved the formula

A lot of comics do completely write out the material, but the real skill is improvising with it. Not just changing the words or acts, but playing off the crowd and altering the presentation on the fly given the vibe

It does, but depending on what you play it on, they're mostly just amusing and don't affect gameplay, and is fine on modern consoles/PC

But on PS4 and Xbone, it's a lost cause. There's no salvaging the last gen versions

No Man's Sky is a nonlinear survival game with some community aspects.

Cyberpunk is a mostly linear single-player RPG with no DLC or multiplayer. Even if the bugs are fixed, there's nothing new there for players to return to, even if they enjoyed it the first time around
