Bam showed up in the post credits scene, with a cloak and hammer at his hip.

Bam always seemed like a miserable person that was also a huge douchebag. Not saying that makes his struggles okay, but I think it is a fair observation as to what may have led him down that road.

Should I watch the theatrical version or get the uncut home version later on?

Bam tried to get the new movie shut down because he's a degenerate drug addict and alcoholic and the rest of the cast/production staff didn't want to put up with his bull shit.

After he failed to get it shut down, he released some crybaby video begging for money from his fans (if you send me $100 i'll remember your name) so he could make a "movie bigger and better than jackass ever was, cause he's full of ideas".

I don't mind Bam, but he definitely gets more credit for the Jackass stuff than he deserves when compared to the rest of the crew. Even in the Cky/Viva la Bam stuff, the rest of his crew were basically all more entertaining.

Still hope he does sober up and reunite with the rest of them in the future.

Credit for what? Being an idea man? That's literally the most low effort, least important job. Just make a thread on 4chan and they'll give up a metric ton of ideas.

The people who actually produce the show and do the stunts are the important people.

Dunn's death was just an excuse he used to justify his fucked up behavior. I'm sure deep down he cared, but I don't think he cared all that much.

Nah, hes always been one of the most popular characters. Him, Steve-O, and Knoxville have always objectively been the top 3.

Even his spin-offs where popular.

Bam is sort of like those child stars that go off the rails when they get to have independence and responsibility and never really recover. Except he peaked as a young adult being an idiot on TV.

I don't think what happened to him is overly surprising and I think he'd be just as bad if Dunn didn't die. The sort of people who peak when they're young and go off the rails tend to end up like he does.

The movie was missing a lot. Bam, Dunn, April and Phil. I watched Jackass 3 right after getting home from seeing 4 and from start to finish the 3rd one is a better movie. Number 4 had a couple really funny bits, but overall it's missing the charm and camaraderie that was there when the whole group was together.

True. I'm sure Dunn dying had an impact on him, but either way, Bam is someone who never really learned to take care of himself.

He became rich early and had MTV to pay for everything and clean up his messes. Once his shows ended, he didn't have that anymore and was just fucked.

CKY is like the original Half Life, it was amazing when it came out, but unless you have the nostalgia for it, the antics are kind of lame compared to what you see on the internet regularly nowadays.
