youve said that its a simple majority that causes a moderation to be upheld which isnt good enough because then if 49% of people disagree with the moderation its still upheld even though something is very obviously wrong with the decision. you're saying you dont know how many votes it takes? with the amount of mods on this site it cant be too many. you get one dispute and often you dont even know what rule your post has violated so you're going in blind and arent even allowed to ask a simple quest "why was this moderated". And then you have some mods who use the system as a "super downvote" for posts they personally disagree with even if they arent wrong and dont violate any rules. The system is fundamentally broken compared to larger websites
How many mods would it take disagreeing for a moderation to be overturned? I imagine >90% of moderations are voted 90/10 one way or another. Do you think the old system where basically 4 people decided your status (marker, 1st mod, 2nd mod, admin) was any better?
What larger websites do you go to with a better moderation system? How is Reddit's moderation system, where subreddit mods are practically omnipotent, any better?

GameFAQs requires that:
  1. Someone marks you, which means smaller boards can get away with practically anything.
  2. A mod, who didn't mark you, thinks you broke the rules AND your message should be removed.
  3. The majority of OTHER mods agree.
Again, that's at least 3 layers of protection you need to fuck up before getting modded. Mistakes happen, I have some BS moderations directly approved by admin. But, even if the moderation is arbitrary it's at least a fair amount of posters who actually don't like what you posted and want you to stop.

Squirtle has higher base Attack than Onix, too.

In Gen 1, Rock/Ground was actually pretty good. Rock was the only type, besides Ghost, that resisted Normal. Normal was probably the best type in the game between Body Slam and Hyper Beam. And Ground typing gave an important immunity to Electric attacks and Thunder Wave. Then Steel came along and Hyper Beam was nerfed. Even so, Golem and Rhydon are OU in Gen 2 partially because Snorlax is so busted. Once the prevalence of Normal types died down, Golem and Rhydon couldn't keep up with other heavy hittters with better typings.

Not sure why he gets credit for the vaccines though. Moderna had already agreed to produce 600 million doses and were clearly ramping up delivery with plans to have over 100 million before the end of q1 2021, all under trump.

Don't get this twisted by the way, I didn't vote for trump. I just think praising biden's admin for what was mostly the previous admin's planning and development is a bit revisionist. Biden admin just had to pretty much change nothing and let the vaccines continue to ramp up and roll out.

All the while everything else he's promised in the campaign is showing 0% progress. In fact, student loans are showing negative progress as he tries to get them started again (despite folding from the outrage). Doesn't make a lot of sense considering the pandemic numbers continuing to spike.
Trump had no distribution plan:

2021 was not the same. He's backed off on COVID, he can't establish priorities to push bills through the Senate, he can't even get the party together. It's one thing to blame Manchin and Sinema for being fuck heads, which they are, it's another to fail at basic messaging.

Yes, if they catch you speeding in a way that would currently give you a fine a better punishment is x hours of community service with threat of jail time.
You have a record of not coming to a complete stop at stop signs? 12 hours of community service.
You got caught going 100 MPH? Probation/ 1 month of jail (maybe 2 to make it easier to plea down).
Drunk driving? Yes, jail + community service + loss of license.

Community service should be open to scheduling so that, unless you're working 7 days a week, it's possible to go without losing work time.
If the punishment is a fine and you were born rich, it's not really a punishment at all. If the infraction is so bad that punishment is necessary, there should be something equally punishing regardless of income.

Microsoft already has a track record of not stripping and gutting companies, forcing them to overmonetize their games. Additionally, Phil Spencer has already publicly made statements regarding NFT's and how he is not in favor of them integrating into gaming.

Until they do this, claims that they "may" do this are unwarranted and hold as much weight as Alex Jones saying the moon landing is fake. If we're talking about "what ifs" that Microsoft has given no indication of having no interest in doing, any discussion is meaningless, because we could just make any sort of claim.
So who fucked up with Halo infinite? Was is 343 upper-management themselves?

But, a lot of that was what Activision Blizzard was already doing. So, it's hard to tell if Microsoft will force them to get their shit in order or will just double down on the money grubbing.

Chocolate = choc'lit

camera = cam'ra
different = dif'rin(t) (depends on positional context)
favorite = fave'rit

Caramel vs Car'ml (actually there's CARE-uh-mel and CAHR-uh-mel, too) is fairly regional. Here are some other regional differences: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2013/06/pecan-caramel-crawfish-food-dialect-maps/276603/
I think that maps out of date, I would expect Car'ml to be fairly more mixed, especially in Florida and Texas.

I don't think so. Pokemon did use the soft C in Pokemon Battle Revolution and some other earlier media, but the movie, Pokmon: Arceus and the Jewel of Life, and Silvally's RKS system both use the hard C. Every single trailer for this game has also used the hard C. I don't know if it was an intentional pronunciation change or they just should have spelled it "Arkeus" or "Archeus" in the first place.

Kind of sounds like One Punch Man where it started off as a parody series about super heroes/battle shonen series, but then as the series goes on it becomes the very thing it tries to parody.
That's just bad translation from web comic -> manga -> anime. In the web comic, the tournament ends in just a few chapters hinging on bald jokes, definitely satirizing old DB. In the manga, it's drawn out waaaaaay too long. The focus, even in Season 2, is still the jokes and on subverting expectations and that will last at least through the Garou arc (the best arc).

Edit: I don't know how anyone is praising the Redo anime. It's literally hentai with a weak plot surrounding it. The writing is like a 13 year old on a certain fanfic site. The MC has no arc, no one grows in any appreciable way, and you can tell how every single story arc is going to go relatively early on. S1 Shield Hero is a classic story of miscommunication and competing goals, Redo is a cliche revenge (literal) porn.

Pretty much every mechanic that keeps the series grounded gets thrown out the window. Stuff just happens. The plot is really messy: characters have awkward motivations, it's unclear who is working with who for what reason, the villain is idiot and mostly unseen. MC starts getting the "friend aura" where everybody flocks to his harem for no reason. Basically everything that made the series kinda interesting is gone. It's hard to tell if it's bad in the LN or just lost in translation from LN to manga.

I was planning on making methods for every character's action. Depending on what you do, the code would run Player.attack(), or Player.castFireball(), or maybe Player.cast(fireball). Are you running into any problems with your current setup? If you wanted to use this data programmatically, you could always access this data through Google's API: https://developers.google.com/sheets/api

The limitation would be that you'd need to be connected to the internet. If you wanted to migrate this data offline, you could do so in a number of ways, but it really depends on how you're planning on organizing and accessing this data.
Yeah, it's all sorted in a rather specific order and if I want to add an entry I have to drag all the entries below it, crtl+x, crtl+v. I guess I could create a sheet for each column and then create a way to view what I want...

To be fair, a relational database can be overkill for that. I typically go for a custom file-based format for simple data persistence.
So I have this data I've been storing in a google sheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xx-n3TFnBE4Ha8rhYo0YXUT7yRyJSUU44dEOMzB2Dm0/edit?usp=sharing
If you navigate to the "Owned Relics" tab, you'll see most of the grunt work. Is there a better, more accessible, more easily updated way to store that data?

I still refuse to believe that this red muppet had an entire fad craze over his doll. As a kid if I couldn't have the count, the obvious best sesame street, then I would settle for cookie monster or big bird himself.

Who even were these people that liked that red thing.
Bro, it's The Count and Oscar, then all the losers.
