Eat your heart out, Black Knight. Also, Ashnard has a ridiculous number of unique boss conversations with characters he can slaughter without breaking a sweat lol.

I....intentionally avoided posting stuff you hear in Smash Bros. I could have posted like a half dozen more, Path of Radiance has a totally baller sound track.

God damn you, Joe Lieberman
It wasn't him, actually: it was Max Baucus, the guy Obama chose to write the Senate bill. Baucus was a long-time industry ally. The public option only ever existed in the House version, but it was never going to happen because Obama was working with the health insurance lobby from day one.

God, what a damned waste Obama was. Not only did he do very little good, but he managed to push Biden across the finish line to insure nothing would get done that might trouble his fellow plutocrats.

I lost the small amount of interest I had when I learned there would be no voice-acting. What's the point of having all these classic cartoon characters in a video game if they don't at least have some wacky voiced dialogue? I'm aware not all the voice actors may have been available (IIRC, Nigel Thornberry's passed away), but...still. The fact there's no licensed music from the shows(or based upon them) makes it even worse. Like, a good chunk of what makes Smash so great is the atmosphere.

Yeah, that's intersectionality.

I'll let Professor Crenshaw explain the concept she defined. But for those who don't want to watch, oppression due to various social factors (e.g. race, class, gender, gender expression, sexuality, etc.) overlaps and reinforces itself, so that, for example, the transphobia black trans people experience is even worse than that experienced by white trans people(because it gets to combine and be influenced by race, at minimum).

I'll share another story, that took place yesterday, on Saturday: an objectively superior day.
Yesterday was the last day of one of the florists who had been there years, and they had a cake for her(and I got to just chill in the conference room chatting and eating cake for a good 15-20 minutes risk-free. It owned) and one of the team leaders tells the florist, "You know, you would be welcome back any time. You would even have your pick of teams." And enby coworker just turns to the florist and blurts out, "Don't come back." Because Whole Foods freaking sucks mang.

It was so hard not to burst out laughing. I love him. She's a warrior, and they're one of those enbies that likes all the pronouns.

I'm sure Hollywood wants to reboot it desperately. And Nightmare on Elm St. too, of course.
The problem is is that suits are increasingly pushing for kind of deriavative, by-the-numbers type films, and these old horror monsters would work best with some one whose creative and has the freedom to do new and interesting things with them rather than a rote, paint-by-the-numbers reboot. The classic films are right goddamned there, no need to retread that ground for the umpteenth time.
