I am guessing the worse that is going to happen to broadcasters is that they will get less money from the government. If China is censoring "girlie men" on tv, it is not going to end well for the government.

The battle is also a stark reminder of the importance of protecting workers right to organize. Its not simply about balancing the economic scales; its about power. When workers do not have powerwhen they have no voice in their workplace and no voice in how the nation is governedexploitation and violence by the state are the inevitable result.

This is the most salient point for me.
Encountering people online who would never even be a blip on your social radar otherwise.
Trolls for the most part are angry social rejects who the real world has largely passed by. This idea that these rude angry trolls are the same online as offline is based on the premise that those two types of interactions form an equal part of their day to day social interactions. They don't.
The basement dweller has nobody in the real world to be rude too. Which is why they're doubley rude as fuck online.

I think the basement dweller messes with you in real life but we learn not to react to it.

BTW I got the water to boil faster by covering the pan. I covered it after adding the pasta too. One of those disposable aluminum pans works. (Why did no one tell me this or did I just forget?)

What is it with New Yorkers and finding any excuse to tell people they live in New York? It hasn't been a flex in years, lmao

NYC is different from other big cities if only for its laws but there are many other factors making NYC iconic.

The water, ocean and rivers
the state hospitals
the state universities

Each big city is so different. Chicago has the worst rat problem. About 5 years ago they compounded it by making buildings pay for garbage cans by the month and by limiting the number of cans. You cannot have more than 4. Large buildings are responsible for their own trash as in it is up to them not as in they are accountable. I had a landlord who allowed one can for 3 apartments.

I guess rats are smart and sociable. Any body watch Ben?

On the free trial you can only create one character per world, but you can use the world visit feature to temporarily visit other worlds (this comes with some limitations that don't affect you too much since you're on the free trial anyway).
The biggest difference between the data centers is the raiding scene, Crystal is by far the least active in raiding so if that's something that interests you, you might want to pick Primal instead (Excalibur works fine).

TY Excalibur for my first character and hopefully I make friends.

they can weigh in at 200lbs and they're highly aggressive. they can be great dogs if you're willing to socialize them every day but most people want one for protection and figure aggression is good, then they lose control of the dog on a walk and it eats someone...

we're lucky its such a rare breed. stupid people would be breeding them like crazy and they'd be the dog breed people make memes about.

Socialization is part of it but having a dog that size on a leash does not mean anything unless it is both trained and handled. While there are people who can train and handle, they are two different skills.
