I just ran 4 miles in the mid 90s and it felt great to me The only time Ive experienced that level of cold was when I was working in a meat storage warehouse. There is also a beach and a lake nearby, so that might end up being more of the day. I kinda hate the middle of summer. I love hiking in the fall the most by far. Even the winter. 20 degrees through the snow is a good workout and you warm up fast. Im pretty conditioned to the heat so summer hiking is my favorite. Hard to beat fall views but you cant really do much swimming if its later in the fall. Not a huge fan of winter hiking honestly --- Pine State milk |

Just went again last weekend for a small day trip to jump off a 40 ft waterfall. The trail to get there was wild and we had to do some light off-roading on the jeep to find the trail head. Hiking with a group is literally some of the most fun you can have imo. Though Im not much on setting up camp and just chilling all day. I gotta be on the move Not much advice for such a short trip but bring extra socks! --- Pine State milk |

The writing can be incredibly clever and there is a lot of original ideas at play, but its obvious you dont have to be smart to enjoy it.
