Not sure I understand. TVs have storage? If it was a computer Id understand, but a tv?

With LG OLED TVs anyway you can save screenshots. They have a couple GB of internal storage for that kind of thing.

No one at all wears a mask in public in my area but me. I get dirty looks constantly. And I know all those fucks are not vaccinated due to the statistics. So at least half of them should have masks on.

You're basically cutting your rent and moving to a larger space. You also have the opportunity to build career contacts while also putting your kids in an up scale neighborhood and presumably better than average public school. If you're single then there's also a good chance of meeting and marrying into a rich family.

I'm a home owner getting ready to pay off my house whenever I get around to asking for the payoff statement. Mortgage is only $730 currently.

So when I do that my only bills will be property tax, utilities, and food. I could live off a part time job if I wanted and maybe do some travelling. I have a better deal here.

I just finished season 3 (the final season).

Some really stupid stuff went down in that one. And it ended without a real ending.

The team was negotiating with this terrorist woman to get the first baby born in 10 years back, then they crashed their plane/research station through the barrier that was supposed to keep these hybrid monster animals from attaching the human population.

Then it was over. What happened with the baby and humans and hybrids, who knows.

I wouldn't have started it period if I'd known it got cancelled before they could finish it.

It's fun if traveling with someone. Going places without someone to share it with sounds boring. I feel awkward and out of place going long distances from home by myself. Like I'm stranded in a foreign land even if it's only 100 miles away.

You're not missing anything. It turns into a soap opera fast. Unnecessary drama, relationships, puke. It's like they ran out of ideas so they added filler to keep it going longer than it should have.

It's about animals all over the world attacking people. The implication seems to be that the earth is fighting back against humans and using animals as its soldiers. A team of people travel around the planet investigating and trying to figure out what is happening and how to stop it. I never finished season 1 I don't think

Also it's based on a book

Apparently the animals are fighting humans because of some mutation produced by a corporation's chemical that's found in their food and other places.

I never really understood how that made them target only humans.

I know it's kind of old at this point, but I just started watching it.

The first season was really good. Season 2 was just more of the same and felt pointless.

On season 3 now where it's 10 years later and it lost all steam. The series in general felt like it should have been a movie and ended after 2 hours.

I think the average "household" income is like $65k.

Most people in the US will not make that much per year on their own. Even if someone makes $20 per hour that's only $41k per year.

The average person doesn't make $20 per hour. My mother took classes to work in a doctor's office and didn't make that much.

This does support my stance that future proofing doesnt exist.

Future proofing is very limited.

It may get you through a couple generations of gaming then it's time to upgrade. I'm pretty sure my system will make it through the 4000 and 5000 series cards. But the MB doesn't support PCIe 4.0 fully so when that becomes mandatory I'll need a new one plus CPU. Then there will be a new standard, rinse and repeat.

If windows 11 requires NASA level hardware to run then it's a failure.

There are tangible reasons to upgrade if you're a PC gamer. The direct storage access is being baked in at the driver level, which should result in faster loading times. There's also tighter integration of the Xbox gaming service.

Gaming is my main reason to want the upgrade.

I'll check into that video later.
