| weekoldhotdog 07/26/21 12:04:38 AM #22 | I guess it's too much to hope for a modern classic to be created that struck the same art style and game play of Breath of Fire 1 and 2+Dragon Quest 3+Chrono Trigger, I'd eat that shit from dawn till dusk but sadly anything JRPG is automatically delegated to Anime cutscenes and rehashed cliched storylines. There really isn't anything innovative about the genre as a whole since....MMO's put their spin on the genre, I guess. Before that was collecting stuff, either materials to make gear or gear itself, or monsters (pokemon) was used to play on people's natures of hoarding and collecting everything from the best to the pointless to artificially inflate gameplay time. Kind of shitty that's the only real mechanic used in RPGs now-a-days anyways. They are the only ones, at this point, with a predictable Ace up their sleeve (SE already remade FF7, playing their trump card) that hasn't gone "all-in" on an extremely bankable idea (in theory) that has yet to exist and be ran into the ground by over-monetization. (For those that aren't aware of who gamefreak is, they're the ones behind Pokemon) This would put renewed interest in upcoming RPGs that people would have had very little interest in otherwise giving the genre a much needed boost to it's dying ecosystem. --- Y helo thar buttsecks Eric Clapton is legit 100% the GOATEST of GOAT GODs. |

I used to pick out what games I rented based off of how many cheat codes or secrets this magazine had listed for it. From extra lives, stage select, hidden characters, hidden weapons, super powers, big heads, alternative costumes, secret hidden games from the past, art concepts and even background music select screens, there was a cheat for anything and everything! Any game worth it's grit had at least a few hidden developer codes built into them. Other ways to enter a cheat code was to pick up a Game Genie or a Game Shark to hack your games with outside source codes to give you that extra advantage. | weekoldhotdog 07/25/21 4:57:45 PM #1 | GTA 5 has been confirmed by Rockstar and it's parent company Take-Two Interactive that their remarkably long-lasting series "GTA: 5" is now coming to next gen platforms PS6 and Xbox Uno. We can expect more optimizations to aging net code for the software as well as past favorite GTA: O characters that haven't been killed off yet but nobody even knows the name of will be making returning appearances in an unnamed expansion coming Spring 2029. Details are thin at the moment on the upcoming expansion but it's rumored to be set in the seedy underworld of "Tax Evasion" and "IRS Fraud". A new heist has already been confirmed for the new expansion although we don't know much on that either, we can expect it probably has to do with teaming up with an actual tax advisor and not some do-it-yourself program that's known to cause confusion, aggravation, late filings, and in some cases seizure ship of all known owned assets amongst anyone from all walks of life from fast food workers to actual tax advisors. Meanwhile, rumor has it that Rockstar is still working on the highly anticipated upcoming title: GTA 6: Vice City.
