Genetics and environment cover all possible factors. Zenkai stopped giving relevant power boosts after Namek.

But we don't know to what extent Jiren is genetically predetermined to achieve power. It's a question mark. All we know for certain is that he reached that power, and if it was such an obvious genetic predisposition, then Universe 11's team would be all Grey aliens.

Goku achieved UI on his own tho. It's not related to his ritual stuff.

Goku's realization of UI is directly attributable to his SSJ God power. Remember, Jiren was effortlessly pushing the Spirit Bomb back to Goku; Goku had to power up to SSJ Blue Kaioken x20, just to keep the Spirit Bomb in an equal tug of war with Jiren. The Spirit Bomb then turned into a black hole of sorts, which as we know ultimately led to the first encounter with UI. But again, if Goku had never undergone the Saiyan ritual to achieve SSJ God levels of power, he never would have been able to keep the Spirit Bomb at bay in the first place, it would have harmed him greatly, and Jiren more than likely would have won the entire ToP before it even really began.

I am voting for Jiren, for one major reason: Goku was unable to achieve deific levels of power on his own. It required a mystical Saiyan ritual for Goku to reach SSJ God, a form he was lightyears behind when compared with SSJ3. Jiren, on the other hand, not only achieved such level of power on his own, but reached a level of power far beyond that--even going toe to toe against MUI Goku--again, completely on his own.

No matter how high Goku climbs, even if he exceeds Jiren at this point, no one can ever take away the fact that Goku did not reach that level on his own. Jiren did.

Basically there's these Gods of Destruction then like probably a million miles of vacuous space and then you get the angels who are so much stronger than everyone else it's stupid.

And then you've got the Grand Priest, who is to the angels, what the angels are to the gods of destruction (in fact, the gap might be even greater.)

Yes, which is why I say it's equally justifiable to say Jiren is a moving goalpost. If Beerus can be, why can't Jiren? Especially since the latter was stated to be the one mortal in the multiverse stronger than a GoD. Now all of a sudden characters are introduced and people are wanking them, like Moro, saying they're above Jiren. It's bullshit.

Frieza went from SSJ1 strength to SSB in 4 months by beating on a weakling. After the ToP you think he didnt up his game? his gains make goku's look like a lazy child. Jiren trained most of his life to achieve what he did. He doesnt have the same growth rate.

Jiren also wiped the floor with Frieza so the power difference is immense. How do we know Frieza can actually close the gap? Whis stated Jirens potential is immeasurable

No, I have not, and I honestly cannot remember the last time I did. Not trying to sound badass, but the fact that I severely broke my back in 2007 (I was nineteen) raised the bar for my pain tolerance very high. I didn't cry then, either, as I've always been good at dealing with pain, but ever since I really haven't even come close.

I got bursitis in my left elbow last year from doing preacher curls that were too heavy, and all that pressure caused the problem in my elbow. Anyway, didn't wanna go to the doctor so every few days, I would use a safety pin (cleaned with hydrogen peroxide) and basically shove damn near the whole thing into my elbow from various spots, draining all the blood and fluid that was building up. After about a week it went away.

I actually learned quite a few interesting things from The X-Files, typically from random stuff Mulder would talk about:

Immelmann turn: an aerial combat maneuver in which the aircraft performs a half-loop and half-roll, so you basically end up flying in the opposite direction, at a higher elevation. Kind of like an aerial equivalent of a vertical U-turn.

Fulgurite: really cool fused sand caused by a lightning strike, they look like fractal patterns.

Bilocation: mystical phenomenon of someone being in two locations simultaneously

Tasseomancy: divination via tea leaves
