It has no effects. All it can do is attack, and if you summon it on turn 1 it can't do even that. On your turn you can remove it with any effect.

Xyz was a good design improvement over Synchro. Easier to add to casual decks, can't easily use them to summon more Xyz monsters, they aren't strong forever due to limited materials.

Why would you want to get rid of it if it's really powerful?

"Comeback" doesn't mean "it's going to be just as big as it was at its biggest." It just means "it was gone and now it's coming back." Regardless of how large of a surge it ends up being, it is objectively true that cases are surging compare to where they were a month ago. That surge is probably not going to be as bad as it was in December/January, no, but it's very much on track to end up with a higher 7-day average than was seen at the peaks of the waves in July 2020 and April 2021, and those were periods that averaged 1000 and 700 deaths a day, respectively. That's not a small deal.

to name a few. players new to card games tend to get caught up doing their own thing when its important to dedicate a portion of your deck to stopping an opponent from doing theirs

How is that first one a counter? If there's say 5 total monsters tributed and they have say 1000/500 each then that's 5000/2500 attack and defense.

I did like a month and a half ago.

This is literally the exact opposite thing that happens with clothes. Branded clothes or more expensive labels last longer than unbranded or cheaper labels.

Ive experienced it myself with shoes and belts. Buying cheap brands or unbranded ones they would crack and fray after a few weeks/months whereas Ive bought more well known brands and they havent cracked or frayed since I bought them in 2015.

I would imagine same goes for jackets too, thats why youre better off going for something like Patagonia or north face as opposed to a shops own brand especially when actual durability and function is key.

im surprised you think unbranded clothes last longer and are better quality than branded ones. Where have you seen that?

Cheap tshirts are practically the same quality if made with the same material.

It will take another decade or so for most to agree on this but it will happen.

For the Hobbit though, this will never happen, most of those movies were garbage.

For that matter, the first few Harry Potter movies are better than their respective books, though for the last few this swaps and the books are better.

Game of Thrones/Ice and Fire book 4 and 5 are WORSE than the show...and objectively even beyond that the show is better (even if it's hot trash) because it at least exists and will ever exist.

I would have preferred them to actually have kept the show exactly like the books. It's HBO they could have afforded it.

Yeah, most people who read it these days buy The Great Book of Amber from Barnes & Noble (which is basically all 10 books in one). It's pretty much the only Zelazny book they still stock/in print.

...which is a shame, because Zelazny is a great writer. He was a huge influence on the New Wave scene in sci-fi/fantasy, and he wrote a ton of short stories as well as novels.

I didn't mean books for that. I meant more comics/manga off certain sites. I also own a few due to Humble Bundles that involved books/comics that were thrown into some game bundles.

The Flight Attendant on HBO is entertaining. Good balance of humor and suspense.

Also if you enjoyed Silicon Valley theres a show called Made for Love which has a similar type of humor. Its also very good.

I just looked for one and I couldn't find it. I take everything that uncle says with a pretty big grain of salt also. He said the name would have been "Earl of Skiens" or Skeins, or some other spelling. The name was changed like 5 times after the family moved to the US, at least 1 time to avoid to a get a revoked license back after a DUI. If you're looking for light fantasy I could throw David Eddings into the pile (his two main series are 10 books and 6 books respectively), but a lot of people have gone off him in the last year or two, because of some personal issues that have come out about him and his wife/co-author that have kind of squicked a lot of people. Depends on whether or not you can separate the art from the artist, or if knowing there's some dark shit in his life will ruin your ability to ever look at his work unbiased.

Roger Zelazny's Amber novels (10 books - two series of 5 and 5 - but they're all fairly short) are another option, but they're generally a bit of an acquired taste (basically, you'll generally know by the end of Nine Princes in Amber if you're really excited about continuing or bored enough to want to stop).

I have no problem with that. I might just get a reader instead of buying physical. But I would want it to have internet access so I could read stuff on other sites too.

Nick Cage is actually a pretty good actor, he just takes a lot of shitty movie roles and then hams it up in those.

When he is trying and in something with good depth and story and he does a great job. Reminds me of Adam Sandler a trash level actor in his own movies, but you put him in Uncut Gems or Reign Over Me and he shows some real acting talent.

A lot of actors are like that. Jim Carrey is also the same like that.
