TopicWas KH3 kind of a nothing game? (Spoilers)
JigsawTDC

I had fun with it. It didn't hit me in the feels th same way the earlier games did when I was a teenager, but I still enjoyed the experience.

I've played every game up to and including III's DLC (and I watched the new cutscenes from Melody of Memory but have no intention of playing it). My recommendation to anyone playing Kingdom Hearts for the story: play KH, CoM, KHII and then stop. II is about as close to a satisfying ending as this series will ever achieve. Disney and Square will milk the series until it's dry and then keep going, so expecting an actual "ending" at this point is naive. I mean, a whole staple of the series is earning the secret bonus video that hints at the next game, and that's been part of EVERY game. This series won't end. The story will only get more and more ridiculous and convoluted. It's already far past the point of being nonsensical.

If you're not playing for the story, or at least know to expect convoluted nonsense with no payoff that never ends in the story, then there series has plenty more to offer. I've always enjoyed whacking classic Disney villains with a giant key, so I'll likely still pickup whatever the next game is (minus the rhythm game).

I hope that one day they'll be able to recapture the magic of the earlier games, since it's inevitabile that it will continue, but I'm not holding my breath.

Since this is a dead thread, I think it's safe to reveal my confession:

Whiskey was right, I'm not really TDC. I'm an agent who has been hired to subvert board hierarchy while also researching my novel about backwater Internet communities. Over the course of the last couple months my team and I have successfully neutralized multiple high profile PotD leaders and influencers. Just think about it. Who has disappeared since I showed up? Who has disappeared within just the last month? The last week? You don't even know. We're so far along that I can tell you this and there's nothing you can do to stop us. Maybe should've listened to Big Daddy Whiskey when he warned you all in the beginning.

Shes been doing it since the internet was first popularized on different accounts across different websites. Shes revised her technique to be nearly flawless. However she still sticks to a few obvious cues. They both have the letter E as the second letter of their user names. Their user names are both 4 letters long. Split and combined their usernames spell MeUs. And they both wont stop talking about the other until it becomes a contention point for the entire board. Also the combined consonant to vowel ratio is uncanny.

This is my new PotD headcanon.

even mangos?

When I worked in a grocery store mangos were a common, everyday fruit. To the point where I still remember the code for our main variety: 4312. Plus mangos usually have the PLU sticker on them. At Whole Foods you end up memorizing lots of exotics anyway. At the height of my PLU memorization I knew every variety of mango plus things like dragon fruit and passion fruit and purple potatoes and red bananas, as well as codes for berry cartons (which normally have bar codes and are actually a very obscure code as a result).

Touching boogers is less gross than touching 15 year old foreskins.

Idk, I think this could be debated. Like I don't have a strong position either way so just playing devil's advocate: are we talking removed foreskins or attached foreskins? If they're removed then they're like dried and crusty, and that might be more preferable to touching something moist and sticky. I guess it really depends on the person and if it's someone else's boogers or your own.

There was an old shock site called meat spin that counted how many penis spins you were able to sit through and it became an endurance competition to see who could get their spin counter the highest. Hence the phrase.

Isnt rich kind of a classification relative to your situation?

and not a real definition?

Which is why I mentioned I can understand why middle class living standards can come across as "rich" to a poor person such as myself. When I was living in Sierra Leone I was making the equivalent of $20 a month, but that was enough to be comparitively incredibly wealthy compared to the rest of my town. But if we're trying to apply things beyond just a personal view, we need to have some level of standard measurement. It makes sense to go by standard of living, and in Utah, these sorts of houses aren't restricted to only the wealthy. Plenty of middle class folks own homes like these.

Is it just regular rich?

No, it's comfortably middle class. I'm poor, so I understand how middle class wealth could be considered "rich" to someone who doesn't have a lot, but the actual wealthy people in Utah have even nicer homes than what we're discussing here. They live on top of mountains and have giant horse ranches on their property and shit. Claiming you need to be "hella rich" to live in a typical middle class house in Utah is just false.

Sounds like you don't have an example.

Sounds like you're having difficulty grasping conversational concepts lol. I'm not trying to be a dick, but like. Let's look at this: someone gave their opinions relevant to the topic and you're somehow coming to the conclusion that that's their ONLY opinion on the wider implications of the discussion at hand. If you saw someone make a thread asking how the new Pokemon game was and someone comes in saying "I love it! It's a great game!" would you then assume that that's the only game they've ever played or planned to play? Because that's what you sound like right now.

And I don't need to give you any examples of someone else's environmentalist opinions when they already gave them to you on their own before you even asked me.

Reason #578977 my dad should not be considered hot:
One of my sisters has PTSD from multiple instances of my father physically abusing her. One time, after they got in an argument, my sister, a bratty teenager at the time, spit on him. Was his reaction a normal parental response to being spat on? Nope. He fucking used a straight up Marine move on her, got her in a hold where she could not move any of her limbs, put his hands into her mouth, and began pulling (like, as if he was trying to split her face in half). She had a bruise straight down the middle of her face from the attempted splitting.

Another time, dad was on a company trip to Aruba and got a plus one. My step-mom didn't want to go, and suggested he take this sister so they could bond more. Dad proceeds to get belligerently drunk for the trip. On the second day, my sister went to wake him up (I forget the particular reason why). He didn't like that. What was his response to not liking being woken up earlier? He started to beat the shit out of my sister. She had to run away screaming for help. Literally crying to the company boss. My dad lost that job because of this incident (good on the boss for not tolerating that shit at the least; not that it really matters since he's now doing the same thing for a bigger company, a major tech company you've all definitely heard of). If this story comes up today, my dad will frame it as if he is the victim and everyone had it out for him and he was being persecuted and all the parts where my sister gets assaulted are convenientally left out.

I actually think there needs to be flexibility on the straw ban due to disabled people. Metal straws can damage people with minimal jaw control, and having a straw that falls apart quickly doesn't work for someone who can't drink any other way.

This is why I favor sugarcane straws as the alternative. They're not too dissimilar from plastic straws in terms of texture and stability, but they're biodegradable and compostable.

There's more to "environmental damages" than just plastic sitting in a landfill, like the vast majority of it is.

But, I mean. Plastic straws still surpass paper in terms water usage, energy usage, and I'm pretty sure chemicals used... I agree that there are bigger fish to fry (whynotboth.gif), but you're not making very good arguments lol
