Baja Punch is absolutely a worthy addition to the Mountain Dew family. Baja Flash is one of the worst and is absolute trash. I love pineapple sodas, Cactus Cooler is one of my favs, but the coconut absolutely ruins it. Its way too overpowering and Ive just never been into coconut/pineapple beverage combos. I prefer my coconut mixed with chocolate and on a cake or something.

i try to upload pictures of myself with cute dogs so that people arent as offended but even then my face is so ugly it distracts people from enjoying the cute puppers :(

The ridiculous times never ended. Intelligence agencies are always doing some weird shit with at least some of their branches. Perusing the recent declassified files is super boring, but once in a while you come across some interesting gems.

it was a fun experiment coming back for the pandemic, but now that things are opening up again and irl outlets have been available to me I feel my time in PotD is drawing to a close. This place is still super toxic and not a good use of time, but I am glad I got to be a part of Whiskeys downfall and witness that whole episode. Absolutely worth coming back for. But also, my depression has been kicking into hypergear lately and I know from experience this isnt a good place for that so gotta make the adult healthy decisions or whatever (lame!).

Is there much nudity? Is it done tastefully?

Most of the monsters are unclothed, to be honest. But I would say it is tasteful. Full disclosure, the B story in the second episode is essentially Mike on Meth.

Its a Disney+ sequel series to Monsters, Inc. First two episodes just dropped. Im enjoying it! Its cool seeing them explore the transition from scare energy to laugh energy. The animation is some of Pixars best to date. So far Id say this is better than Monsters University (which I enjoyed but found to be one of the weaker Pixar films) but has yet to reach the heights of the original movie. Theres still eight episodes to go though, so who knows!

My new roommates think its gross that I use one (well I think its gross they dont!) and are telling me its making the house stink, but I honestly think Ive been emptying out an excessive amount of time since Ive moved in here. I empty it once in the morning, once in the evening. Thats twice in a day!

anyway, looking for advice. What should I do about nagging dumb roommates?

I do it without trying. Not everyday, but most. Ive never been big on breakfast and Im just straight up not hungry for the first few hours of the day (typically up by 8:30 and I eat my first meal between 12:30-2). I went to a late breakfast the other day with a friend (11am) and I could only manage a few bites of my oats before my stomach told me to stop. Im more likely to eat after the eight hour mark than before, but my food intake generally is within an 8 hour window (not intentionally, just how my schedule works out). Although the last few weeks probably wouldnt count because Ive been drinking every night until pretty late (beer, so high in calories and thus probz not part of fasting), which is not typically part of my diet.

Was super uninterested in ever having an e-reader, but as someone who moves around a lot and is a heavy reader the convenience is fantastic. I really like my Kindle and highly recommend any heavy reader to give one a chance even if the idea seems initially unappealing. I still prefer actual physical books, but the vast majority of my reading is now on the Kindle.

I knew this place was toxic, I knew it wouldnt be good for me, but I came back anyway. Instead of sleeping with my wife, Id fall asleep to the low glow PotD illuminating my phone screen. Instead of reading bedtime stories to my daughter Id read another post from LinkPizza about automation. Instead of shooting up heroin with my friends Id be making up another story about shooting up heroin with my friends to gain sympathy with WhiskeyDisk to make my planned betrayal that much more hurtful. Instead of holding down my job, providing for my family, and crushing mad skills in games, Id only put effort towards being the best poster ever, all for Zareths approval. Now my wife has filed for divorce, my daughter died due to neglect, no one will talk to me, and my hearing is scheduled for next week. I couldnt afford a good lawyer so all Ive got is some wacky Bligh-esque turnip head and I expect to be put away for a long time. It was a fun ride while it lasted, PotD, but the hyenas are finally closing in on me.

I remember liking the first few books as a kid but as I got older I lost interest. It never felt like there was ever actually endgame sight as each book was fairly self-contained (basically James Bond for kids), so Im surprised to hear it ever ended in the first place. And not surprised at all that its back.

yea, specifically ESL. Im still early into my career, but I taught in Sierra Leone with the Peace Corps and did a bit of online teaching with students in China during the pandemic. Got a fancy certificate and everything!

Oh yeah probz shoulda specified that! Im gonna be teachin legit English to Japanese children! Im excited. Ive been wanting to live in Japan since I was in middle school and teaching English is a job Im legitimately good at and enjoy, so Im super stoked!

Ill be moving to Fukui Prefecture by the end of the year!
