Its rare but im a huge fan of indirect vulnerability, where the character passively manipulates fate or space to avoid attacks. It's become a reoccurring boss power in Jojo's Bizarre Adventure.

People can hate on this episode all they want but Picard having to launch into Shakespeare soliloquy to bear to complement Troi's mom is a great little Picard moment.

And skipping this episode would've made me miss Wesley's promotion to full ensign

I don't think he actually lied. If I recall, his exact words were "Perhaps something happened during the transport," which is one of those kinds of deliberately ambiguous statements that's constructed so it's technically true no matter what.
Checking the script again, Riker asserted that the weapon had discharged, so Data wasn't actually obligated to give any answer; it was not a question. But he did deliberately omit the truth by offering an explanation that he knew to be false. If not meeting quite the burden of a lie, I think it is coming very close. Either way, a very eyebrow raising character development moment.

In the beginning of Menage a Troi, Riker checkmates a Ferengi and Wesley declares he perfectly played "A Queen's Gambit finishing with the Aldebran Exchange." Interesting that the terminology of Queen's Gambit still exists in 3D-chess, I'm curious how much elaboration of that game's ruleset there has actually been.

It's like, you're talking with a cool guy at a party. You have a similarly edgy sense of humour, you get on like a house on fire - and then you learn he buys into that sovereign citizenship stuff and thinks Obama was a reptilian jew overlord. Everything he said before was tinged in an appealing sense of irony, but this stuff comes out of left field and stands on its own as a statement as opposed to being a punchline to anything. You sure enjoyed that Rick and Morty discussion earlier, but to continue with him after what you've just heard, you'll always be on the lookout for the next dipshit dogwhistle or "redpill". The trust has been lost.
This is a fair way to feel about it. My two cents is that I feel sympathetic to Jon because I was once caught by a similar alt-right web when I was growing up.

Yakuza 1 Rush style combat was fighting at its peak in the Yakuza games. Especially when an opponent like Majima would also dodge at a similar frequency to you, felt like a straight up DBZ fight.
I had a moment where I kept using the L1 dodge against Majima's blade then he'd evade all my punches and it was the sickest shit. Kiryu perfectly dodging every swing. Looked like expert choregraphing, all naturally emerging from the gameplay.

When I first started Yakuza I was very frustrated. I wanted it to be like Metal Gear Rising or Bayonetta. I think the most annoying thing in Yakuza games is that you can appear to land a direct hit that opens you up into a combo, then the AI will block your finisher, or maybe even recover as you begin the finisher, dodge, and counterattack, just like Kiryu does.

General tips I can give: if something isn't working, evaluate what you're doing. Don't use assumptions of how this kind of game is supposed to work. Change strategy often, especially Kiryu's stance. You may find a fighter is blocking every punch as Brawler, then you switch to Rush after a dodge and suddenly you're laying into them. Maybe they start shrugging off your weak hits, then you switch to Beast and find that you can rip right through their counters.

The hardest boss I can think of (genuinely difficult, not annoying) is the first Kuze fight, basically the first boss in Yakuza 0. You don't know the combat well and you don't have Beast mode yet; in my experience Beast tears through him like no other style can. He's definitely an example of looking like you broke through only for him to get a second wind and knock you to the floor.

For his first health bar it should be sufficient dodge around him and hit his back during his strings (this is basic advice for almost any boss in Yakuza). The back is a weak point always. Try not to be too greedy, you might have time to do a finisher but if you go XXXX first, maybe not. When he reaches heat mode you should grab.

I literally had a topic seething about that fight in Y0 when I first started, now I love the series

It wasn't a great movie, honestly can't really say it's a good movie. In many ways it still has the worst of Snyder's fingerprints all over it. But it was a fun movie to watch and banter about. I loved what Flash got to do, he was the highlight for me.

For a four hour fuckfest that's not a small achievement imo

No, it's not like how kids used to watch R rated violent movies. That is a poor comparison. Arin knows who the primary viewership of his channel is. He makes content daily and knows how to present himself to make himself most appealing to that audience.

I feel like your example is arguing in favor of me though. The musician is the victim in that situation. He had what he thought was a friend who then turned around and accused him of being an abuser. That's not his fault, that's the fault of the fan.

You're saying celebrities have to police their relationships so other grown adults don't put themselves into an unhealthy power dynamic. That's bologna. There comes a time where you have to take responsibility for your own actions. With the available information, I think that's the case here.
It isn't either person's fault, there was no malice. Yet somebody still got hurt. And that pattern of harm is seen repeated and repeated across venues, mediums, and countries. When we identify such a pattern, it is a good idea to explore how to prevent it.
