Can't believe this one is even a thing, but...games that launch completely f***ing broken w/ the notion that, "we'll patch it later!" Cyberpunk again being the obvious example to most, but the one that first comes to mind for me was that Batman game a few years back that'd crash and freeze on PC all the time and Warner Bros. actual response was, "we can't fix that right now, we're busy working on the DLC". I have no idea why consumers just accept that s*** and keep buying from the companies that do it. (O_O)

Dude I finally finished Skyrim this week for the first time (I'd never completed the main quest) and I'm flabbergasted at how many quests are still broken in that fucking game. Like, they release a new version on a new platform every other year and they literally release the game with known bugs - many of which have mods on PC that fix them - yet they still release and re-release the game in this perpetually fucked state

This last playthrough I had at least a half dozen quests I couldn't complete for whatever reason. This is on PS4. How is this not fixed?

Immortals is a lot of fun, too. It's like Ubisoft's attempt at Breath of the Wild, but they pull off just enough to make the game stand on its own imho

The puzzles are fun without being too challenging. The writing turned out to be a lot more humorous than I expected. The combat is pretty fun. Easy to become overpowered especially if you're the type to explore and do side quests. Fun game.

I've played Spider-Man: MM, Valhalla, and GoT, (and technically Demon's Souls). Picked Ghost of Tsushima

Spider-Man: Miles Morales is DLC repurposed into a standalone game. If you played the PS4 Spider-Man, this game reuses the same locations down to the gang hideouts. Sure, you get new venom powers, but even the bosses are recycled. There's only two new villains iirc (been a while since I beat it). If you're itching for more Spider-Man it will certainly scratch that itch, but if you've played the first game it's worth waiting for a steep sale.

If you like the direction Assassin's Creed has headed with Origins and Odyssey, you'll probably like Valhalla. But it's the weakest of those 3 entries imho. I don't like how they tweaked the combat, and the characters are less memorable. Still worth playing if you're into those games.

Bluepoint did fantastic work with the Shadow of the Colossus remake. I've heard good things about their Demon's Souls remake, but I've also heard some gripes mostly from Souls purists who wanted a more faithful remake. Personally I wouldn't be bothered by tweaks to the remake as long as they serve to enhance or update the experience, but I haven't played it so can't speak to the changes. Did play Demon's Souls on PS3 though and it's awesome.

Haven't played Hitman 3 but I hear good things about it. I did enjoy Hitman 2 so it's probably good?

As for Ghost of Tsushima... I want to be careful not to overhype it while explaining why I chose it. The game is not groundbreaking. It doesn't reinvent the wheel. It treads very familiar territory if you've played any of the dozens of open-world action adventure titles from the past decade. That said, while its not necessarily a "new" experience, what Sucker Punch has created is done very well. The world is one of the more visually stunning worlds I've played in. The characters and overall plot are good. Side missions are about as good as they get and serve a purpose where they provide you with gear that can fundamentally alter the overall gameplay and how you choose to play the game. The music is great. The combat is fun and has an element of skill to it. You can power through most encounters with button mashing but if you take your time master the parry system you can become a fucking badass merchant of death. I loved the game. I can see how someone might not have as great a time with it as I have due the preamble about it being kinda well-worn territory, but man did I have fun with that game. I haven't played much of the Legends mode but what I have played was fun.

An Oklahoma state lawmaker has apologized after referring to colored babies during an abortion debate Tuesday.
Rep. Brad Boles, a Republican from Marlow, called the comment a slip of the tongue in a statement posted to Facebook Tuesday night.

I inadvertently used an offensive term during debate for a pro-life bill when suggesting abortion affects people of all races, the statement said. I apologized to several colleagues for this accidental slip of the tongue and made a public apology on the House floor.

He continued, I hope you know me and my heart well enough to agree I would never intentionally say anything to offend anyone, and that as a Christian I believe God created each of us in His image. While it was truly an accident, I deeply regret the unintentional harm it caused. Please accept my sincere apology.

Boles used the term while debating in favor of a bill that would outlaw abortions once a fetus had detectable cardiac activity better known as a fetal heartbeat bill, The Oklahoman reported.

In 2017, 862,000 babies were aborted. Twenty-eight percent of those babies were colored babies; 240,000 Black kids, 215,000 Hispanic kids, Boles said during the debate, according to the newspaper. These kids mattered and Im here to advocate for them as well.
Alicia Andrews, chair of the Oklahoma Democratic Party, condemned the comment.

As a Black woman who is old enough to be his mother, I am shocked that someone is using the term colored in 2021, she said, according to KFOR, adding, Colored is not part of your normal lexicon. If its not part of your normal lexicon, it doesnt just come out. So, it is part of who he is.
Boles took to the House floor Tuesday night to apologize after Andrews and the Oklahoma Democratic Party demanded a public apology.

Tamya Cox-Tour, executive director of the ACLU of Oklahoma, called on Boles to commit to engaging in conversations with experts about racial equity.
It is disgraceful that in 2021 we still have elected officials like Rep. Boles use racist rhetoric such as colored on the floor of the Peoples house, she said in a statement. Rep. Boles and his colleagues should not only commit to engaging in conversations about race equity work with the experts in our state, but also actively check their colleagues on problematic behavior.

House Bill 2441, which was being being debated when Boles made the comment, passed in the Oklahoma House of Representatives 80-19, KOKH reported.

Yes. Especially with cash. Pick a number you don't want to spend over, don't tip your hand. Start at a number you're comfortable with. Be okay walking away if they can't meet you at a reasonable price.

A lot of car dealers just want to move inventory. They may be willing to make a slim profit, or even take a loss, just to get the car off their lot and make way for new inventory.

If they haven't had much interest in that car they may be willing to come down considerably rather than sit on it and have it lose value. Cars depreciate. Every day it's not selling is money lost
