Yeah, I'm fairly certain there were more festivals observed and enjoyed by people in Europe during the middle ages; at least one per month.

I don't know if they had them more frequently, but, you certainly had longer holidays.
Hell, christmas was a week long celebration.

I think it's just a complaint about the name, like a lot of people have made so far.

I honestly think it's fine, names grow on people over time.

It was made up as a "pan-african holiday" to help unify african-americans because they all came across all different parts and cultures of Africa. It was made in the 60s.

2-D pixel spessmans with a horrifically complicated atmospheric system, a wide varied set of jobs (including cargo, medical, security, command, the science team, engineering with sub-jobs for each section), rotating gamemodes, and really dynamic storytelling.
It's all wrapped up in the most awful and ancient system imaginable that's been hammered away until it's presentable, but still has a horrific amount of jank.

Yes I would. A lot of these charities are completely corrupted to the point where a large majority of the money raised goes to administrative costs. Just because you agree with a cause doesnt mean you shouldnt hold the people running it accountable. Also I voted libertarian this past election tyvm.

You can look up how much charities take up for their internal costs iirc.

i think people believe that having "man" as the default for all human beings is the fundamental issue. That definition of the word is problematic, according to people who have that view. Same as the issue of "Latino" being used to describe everyone, which erases the existence of women in the group (because they same word is used regardless of if they are there, whereas the existence of a single male changes the word used to "his" word, regardless of how many women there are). It's an imbalance in power, issue, for those who are concerned about that

If someone were to release a virus as a weapon, they likely would be cautious enough to make sure it wasn't extremely lethal in case their was a mishap and it got out of control in their own country. It's been pretty effective at destroying the infrastructure globally

That was what people were saying initially.

Because if it was a biological weapon it would be 500x worse.

All yeast produces alcohol to some extent or another. That's just the nature of their metabolism. Bread yeast produces less alcohol and more CO2 than brewer's yeast (as well as differing in what byproducts are created), so you probably won't end up with a great product, but you can certainly make something alcoholic regardless of what yeast you use.
