It's probably the one single thing we could do that would literally cut down on EVERY social problem at the same time across the board. The problem is if you get rid of alcohol, crimes rates go up. Like it did the last time they tried to get rid of it. Meaning that getting rid of it just because 25% of all violent crimes involve alcohol is dumb because youll be raising the crime rate instead of lowering it... Thats why it sounds like you just want to get rid of it because you dont like it. Because you argument of getting rid of it to lower crime doesnt make sense since crime went up last time...
