Also the EXA_PICO-ness doesn't run that strong AFAIK. Rekka Katakiri does the vocals, and she was the singer for Cocona in AT3 (GRANZERO=SPEAR, HYMMELI), but she isn't one of the main three (Shikata, Shimotsuki, Mitose).

The relief at not having to do the fetch quests today is terrifyingly palpable.

Different currency. You get armory currency after every game, while shop currency is basically achievement points.

I don't think it's random. After getting random colors but no Crimson, I set the clock to 11 am and then consistently got Crimson. So I'm pretty sure it's mapping colors, but what we think is close and what the game thinks is close (probably shortest distance in RGB-space?) are very different.

Mostly, I used Xiangling's E, C6 Fischl's E, and Xiangling's autos to rack up a lot of damage on the cube during the downtimes. Xiangling's ult also tears through the electro's revival totems thing. I also brought Ganyu to add a bit of ice damage for the electro one and to snipe the geo one without having to bust the pillars, but if you don't have her, just grab any claymore-wielder to chew through the pillars.

it's strange to me that this is how it sounds to you, because the melody line is such a Shimomura violin that I can't imagine anyone else composing it besides her. I guess there's some similarities in the rhythm section that your mind must be going to, but my mind makes the link on the violin so much more strongly.

Without even listening I'm going to say yeah I think that's an OST version of The Second Tower because the OST version has an intro section that doesn't play ingame AFAIK (at least not for the World Map version - it is indeed the world map theme for (most of the world) the back half of the game. Not sure offhand about the Sound Test, it might have that version actually but I am not hooking up my PS2 to answer this question.)

Yeah, the first minute is a medley of a couple of different tracks in-game. I was also 99% certain we had the OST version in the contest? I remember there being a row about it, back in the day.

I'm in a similar place, except replace Noelle with Xiangliang and Rosaria with Ayaka. (Though I mean Noelle at C6 might be interesting to mess around with i'unno). But at the same time, I don't expect to make any pulls in 1.3 (Xiao doesn't interest me, and I already have two pyros I like in Xinyan and Xiangling), so... *shrug*.

zero: That's kinda my biggest complaint with the game too. It's kinda hard to introduce a new set of characters when the best and most memorable scenes all revolve around characters from the last subseries. I also feel like there's a lack of a general throughline to tie the various subplots together. Like you said, it ends on a dime: it ties up Renne's plotline and, uh, basically nothing else? As opposed to Sky FC, where by the end you've accomplished most of the goals you originally set out to do. I guess Cold Steel 1 sort of had a similar issue, in that I'm not entirely sure I could state what your goals are in CS1. But at least there's the overarching noble vs. commoner dynamic there.

That said, Crossbell is Falcom's NPC dialogue game at their best. Just the fact that we're in the same town for the entire game lets Falcom write full-on character arcs, and I loved every second of them. Even if it did feel like I was spending 3 hours running around talking to everyone for every 30 minutes of gameplay or main plot >_>

I hit 50 right before, and told myself I'd hang on to the current level for a bit just to see what things are like in Dragonspine. I'm sure I'd be okay at the higher level, but I also don't have much incentive. It's like...the wolf might drop an extra talent item, and that's really about it. So yeah, unless I'm prepared for ascensions -- which I'm not -- there isn't really any reason to up the WL....other than that it might make grouping with others difficult.

From what I've seen, the advantages of being at WL7 are:
1) Elite bosses drop about 50% more 5* artifacts (from like .42 to .63)
2) Weekly bosses go from 1.5 talent item drops to 2.1 talent item drops.

There doesn't seem to be much else. Maybe a small increase of ~10% in ascension mats, but that could be noise.
