I now stand firm. The beginning is so annoying. There are some kind of cool parts but the singing is never in my style. It sometimes come close, but no cigar. I can't say that I actively dislike it, but I get no pleasure from it. (holy shit can you tell how long ago I made these rankings? regardless, still not a great hymnnos, at least for me). I don't like the singing, and I can't grab on to the rest of the song. If I astral project and detach my consciousness from my body and listen without ears, I can see a lot cool with it. I think this is one of few songs where my enjoyment has been severely impacted by the sound quality. I can kind of tell what's it's going for, and it seems like it'd be cool. I can't really appreciate it though, especially for the first minute. The specific effect its going for is pretty hampered by the low quality, and it sounds like a mess to me.
