there seems to be enough variance and oscillation on some cryptos that I should be able to reliably get a small 2 or 3% gain as long as I'm not moving a chunk to them just as it hits an all time high.

So i'll try putting $7.20 into 5 different cryptos and waiting for them to hit $7.42 before moving them into a different crytpo that is at a lower end of an oscillation. Repeat ad naseum, so it will keep moving unless I end up in 5 different cryptos that all continue to lose value or never strike a 3% increase.

i recommend Algorand. Consistent gains, easy to anticipate, 7% APY, and a legitimately good project

Even if the "truth" is that "clearing houses have infinite money tied up so it becomes too expensive to buy stocks" that doesn't change the fact that a fundamental flaw with the system has been discovered in this. People are not being allowed to spend their own money on something that they want to buy with their money. And it isn't that it's "sold out", it's just middle-man fuckery that has somehow created a situation where the stocks can be SOLD but not BOUGHT which can predictably only impact the market it one way.

Even if you have to give RH a pass because it isn't their "fault" in the most direct sense, the system is still borked for this to have occurred at all.

This is the exact realization they want you to make. Make no mistake the entire purpose of this clearly astroturfed movement is to rile up the masses and create a liquidity crisis. They want to see the current system fall because they already have the solution. You have to take the same approach you take with poker.

you are going to get some bad beats, but if you play your best game you will generate enough of a difference to have the % work out in your favor.

If you can use your skill to win 54% of your games at a high level of play then you are very very good. But you are also still losing nearly half of your games. You just have to be okay with that, because a 54% edge in something like poker would make you a bajillionaire.

i appreciate the analogy, and i would totally agree in an RNG-influenced game like poker. i used to play Hearthstone and i wouldnt get pointlessly upset over unlucky draws and bad bounces. To me its ludicrous to solo queue in something like League and more or less bash your head against the wall to get your winrate up. If the game is skill-based i want skill to be the sole determinant, or at least the main determinant. To lose at CS or something to shitty teammates on a consistent basis is mind-boggling. i guess this is why i stick with 1v1s

second, if you can't beat them, join them. I play for myself, as selfish as that sounds, sometimes I just want to heal. So I go and heal. Sometimes I just want to tank, so I tank. I try to find satisfaction in doing the job instead of actually winning. I understand theres people that don't even do THAT much, at least try to be better than those players

I love Total Mayhem because you just spam the abilities, its very therapeutic and thats all I want to do.

Thats pretty much the route i was heading towards when i quit, just picking Lucio and sliding around every game. Playing competitively just doesnt feel like an option when oh so many people make such hurtful, irreparable choices

Fucking why? I cannot for the life of my understand why someone would be inclined to queue up with a bunch of randos for a 20+ minute game that you can lose through zero fault of your own. I get that theres always more you can do as an individual, and you can manage some cool teamwork when you find players at your level, but is it really worth it? How many games have you lost because one or more of your teammates was toxic, not trying, or just straight up left? I used to play Overwatch when it was new and the rng teammates pushed me away from the whole format. Unless youre queuing up with a team of 5 or dont care about winning it reads like pure masochism.

i strongly disagree. It changes a whole lot, and is obviously worth thinking about when theres money to be made. The way we look at value and payments will completely change. We may end up in a bartering system in the not so distant future once all the assets are digitized. The economy will be more inclusive than ever, especially for those in underdeveloped countries lacking banking infrastructure.
Not for free of course, at the cost of the death of financial privacy. No more illegal payments with non-sanctioned money no no no. But privacy is pretty fucking dead at this point theyre kinda just dancing on its grave.

ive also enjoyed OP a lot less post-time skip, and i dropped the manga right around that Luffy prison stuff.
i still have faith in Oda to bring things back around for the endgame, but what i wouldnt give for a little more focus on the Straw Hats. The Sanji development is what made Whole Cake Island a little more special than the rest.
And Dressrosa is fantastic in retrospect, the Law and Doflamingo storyline was A1. Its only worthwhile in a marathon tho cuz Jeeeesus the pacing crawls.

Love to see the market (aka Bitcoin) doing well. Too bad the price is artificially inflated by Tether and most of the gains are being siphoned by the CCP.
