I'd be super shocked if they don't. That's literally hundreds of millions of dollars being left on the table.

Either two things:

1. The anime didn't actually do all that well in ratings. I've read that in a few places before, but I can't say for sure if that is the case.
2. They're waiting for the manga it move far enough ahead so they can adapt the storylines without as much interruptions. Though since DBS is a monthly series now, that would take quite a while (they COULD do the Moro arc, but unless they're given another outline by Toriyama, they would go straight into filler hell the instant the arc ends).

So SEGA has a very successful game console out now, while Nintendo is struggling in that field and only releases mostly-subpar Mario and Pokemon games nowadays.
