PS doesn't really have a Game Pass equivalent, PS Now really doesn't cut it. If that's your approach, get an Xbox, but I'd wait for a price drop

Depending on the success of the Series X, you might see new One X's drop to $250-$300 or less next holiday season

They should keep the access to Pass/Now. The infrastructure for PSN/Xbox Live probably isn't going to change so drastically that it'd necessitate dropping support anytime soon. Even 360 still has Live support.

You'll probably see less support/games coming to the One's Pass/4's Now and it'll eventually just be "this is what you get"

I guess I'll wait it out then. I don't have any friends who seriously game, so I'm not too bothered about having the best or newest library. Hopefully the "what you get" library has some good titles in a few months, but if not, being able to unsubscribe is nice

So the only console Ive ever owned is a Switch, but I hear about so many other games. the new consoles seem a bit expensive for me, but I was thinking of buying a used XBox 1 or PS4 and using GamePass/PSNow to play older games for cheap. i went to GameStop yesterday and a used X was about $200.

is buying a last Gen console + game subscription a good idea? Will these consoles be losing access to Pass/Now? Should I buy now, or will prices drop even more when new consoles drop? XBox or PlayStation?

Yeah I think I remember that. I guess I'm lucky (ick) that I was a teen boy and not a teen girl, but we still talked quiiite a bit. Way more than I would feel comfortable privately talking to a 14-15 year old online at my current age (I assume he was in his 20s at the time)

Yep. I actually frequented a single player Diablo II community with him for a while before I learned of this. I can't say I noticed any warning signs, but it does show you...

He and I talked a lot back then, both on and off the site. I remember we were "best friends" when I was 15. I didn't think it was weird at the time and I don't have any of the messages, but it does seem weird looking back

I have no idea how long Ive been with my SO. All I know is its been years. I also dont know when our anniversary would be...

my SO and I were definitely a "thing" for a while before our "anniversary". I was already spending a few nights a week at her place by that time, I think. Oct 17 is just the day one of us possibly asked if we were a couple, and the other said yes. So that's the day we use.

The menu sounds good to me. It still gives us a classy and sophisticated vibe, while still being simple enough for someone who doesn't really know how to cook to make. I don't know much about wine either, but from my understanding Cabs and Merlots go well with red sauce pasta dishes.

Yeah! The recipe I'm using looks simple enough. The harder part will be making chocolate, I think, but even that is just melt-mix-freeze. The bottle I bought says it pairs well with fruit and spicy dishes, and we're eating spicy meatballs and some of the chocolate ingredients are fruit, so I thought it might be okay.

My gf got me back into games. she likes to play sims and open-world games and I like platformers and rpgs, but we've had a lot of fun playing through 3D All Stars, Katamari Damacy, Mario Kart, and minecraft. We only own a switch (and pc laptops) do our options are limited.

Well I don't know how to cook so I'm trying to make dinner.

I'm doing a simple soup for starters. For dinner dinner I'm making spaghetti with marinara sauce and spicy Italian meatballs (+ mushrooms, peppers, and onion, basil, parsley, and parmesan). I'm making toasted garlic bread to go with the pasta. I bought a semi-sweet red wine but I don't know anything about wine so idk lol. And for dessert i bought chocolate and a bunch of ingredients (salty, sweet, sour, and spicy) so we can make our own chocolate bars.

then after, or possibly during, we'll be playing Luigi's Mansion 3 and Mario Galaxy.

Anything how are you guys? ama or tell me anything I guess.
