Joe - weirdly one of the harder ones. Hes never beat me, but I dont really understand how to win effectively. I can never beat him in R1, and half the time I go into R3.

Keiser - Easiest fight. I lost to him twice because of timing out (is it even possible to have the judges let you win?) but then figured out his moves. I beat him once in the first round, but every other time it takes me two or three rounds.

Honda - fuck this guy. He beats you up in like five punches, and blocks everything. Then he has this move where he pummels you forever. I must have fought him 30 times before I knocked him out even once. I finally beat him a while ago but it felt like luck <.< not sure if Ill fight him again or just use the code to skip to the major league lmao

First Major Fight (didnt catch his name) - super simple, but again, a time waster. I lost the first time, and the second time I lost because I ran out of time. But the third time, I just kept punching. 2-3 punches, hed swing, Id dodge. Repeat. Beat him in R3.

King Hippo - Only fought him once, but lost hard. His moves seem totally random and he hits hard

abolish government. we have everything we need, we just need to spread the means of production to as many people as possible. nobody owns the corporations, everyone working for this new Amazon of sorts just work together. We can either use trade of goods and services, a flat currency system, or a mix of both. People can do whatever, as long as it doesnt infringe on the rights of others.

Who would do the spreading? Leaders of communities and conferences would still be government, and there would still be politics about how those positions are chosen and what decisions are made about how the spread of means of production would happen

This, sure. But Im not tired of the rules or changes themselves.

My life hasnt really changed much. If anything, its been better since the pandemic hit the US. I spend more time with my girlfriend, Ive been doing better in school, I drink and eat out less, I spend more time on my hobbies, Ive caught up on a lot of shows its been meaning to watch... I obviously want it to end so we can all be safe and healthy, but when (if) this all ends, Ill kind of miss the quarantine Ive been myself in, and Ill probably still do a few of the new things I do, like wear a mask in public, keep distance between others, sanitize shopping carts, etc

well itsa group project, so it comes out to about 60-80 pages per person, then you gotta figure in references and tables and figures blah blah blah. With a good group it could turn out to be not super fatiguing.

the client sent us some example reports for us to emulate, and those are all about 300 pages (I could PM them to you if you want. Id post but they have names of people who probably dont want to be shared). They want us to be just a bit more in depth though, they mentioned.

eh. From family opened hardware stores to the American Red Cross, and from local governments to big companies like Walmart, previous groups from my school have managed to successfully get some kind of policy change to happen.

youre right that the group Im working for is a huge federal department, but my group is only trying to make a change at our local HQ. There is a piece in there about our project being so successful it could be adopted by other locations or even made a department-wide policy, but thats extremely unlikely for sure. But maybe well make some kind of difference on a small scale.

and even if we dont I still gotta get those good good grades

so glad i picked a program w/ no thesis.

we just have a running portfolio where we deposit assignments we've done and course/program reflections.

Technically, my program doesnt have a thesis requirement either. We have a practical requirement, where we spend a full year working with a business or nonprofit or government entity to do the whole find a problem, do research, find data, suggest solutions, implement solution thing.

me and four other students are working with a big federal government office to help create a new policy for use in times of national public health emergencies. The Department were working with wants a 400ish page final report, but that isnt as bad when you have a group working on it.

and, Im sort of the stats guy in my group. The emphases of my degree are in data analytics and analytical methods, so I agreed to take on more of that work if others did the actual writing lol
