I also think I'd be more excited for a new DR release than an AA release, despite thinking the latter is better. With a new DR comes the predictions and fan discussions, which I don't think I've seen from any other franchise. It's a really unique feeling and I'm really surprised that something as silly as Danganronpa can actually achieve it.

Yeah I've seen some theorizing that in March, we're getting new features in NSO. Probably either a premium plan that comes with extra games (seemingly 3D and loacalized titles) or just bringing back the Virtual Console eshop. I want to say the prior option is more likely, but I find it hard to believe Nintendo's gonna put a bunch of GCN games on a streaming service.

Eh I could say the same about notes though. I think Rusty Bucket Bay and Click Clock Wood are the only two that leave you in danger of dying.

For SM64 I'd definitely include Tick Tock Clock with Rainbow Ride, but you also have levels with a lot of instakills like Shifting Sand Land Cool Cool Mountain. And can't you screw up Lethal Lava Land's of you enter the volcano too early?

I strongly disagree with this. The levels are far more fluid since you don't have to restart them everytime you grab a jiggy. The notes are a cakewalk compared to the annoying ass 100 Coin Stars in 64.

At my Mom's it was bit younger, I don't think my Dad ever did til I graduated High School

There was a bit of an ulterior motive so I understand, but essentially my grandpa was mine and my sisters ride from school so after he dropped us off he hung out til my Dad got home, but I think that's mostly cause he wanted to spend time with us.
