I think Trump had such a bad term, that it killed his chances. So I think Trump 2020 is far weaker than Trump 2016

Not only has he lost a lot of his casual supporters, but most people who didn't vote are riled up enough to vote for Biden. Biden should take this pretty easily

I don't know, the early gens had some real stinkers, too. People just overlook it because childhood.

EDIT: I think it depends what you're looking for. Later designs are a bit more... Busy, while early designs are super simplistic. For every overdesigned mon you have from later gens, you have "Here's a seal. ...That's it. It's a seal" from the early gens.

Yeah I think it's easier to view lazy designs like Seel and Grimer as pretty basic and harmless. Whereas things like Stunfisk or Bruxish are actively ugly.

I've noticed some people really don't like the object Pokemon which are far more common now, but I've never really seen an issue with them.

I do think Gen 5 onward has some of the most bottom barrel mons out there. However some of the newer ones are really awesome. In fact I'd go as far to say Gen VII has the best overall designs of any generation.

It's crazy how easy it is to just...not do that.

You know how livers work, you know how alcohol works and you know how time works.

I have to work in 8 hours? Guess I should stop. Etc

Well for starters I really don't drink that often so I'm not an expert in gauging how long said alcohol will last. Secondly it's sometimes up to 10-12 hours, so even when it seems like it's enough time it isn't. Finally if I know I'm going to be drinking at a party or bar, I will plan for a different form of transportation ahead of time.

Nobody's perfect in predicting how your body reacts to alcohol intake. It's not like I'm getting annihilated, then hoping in my car or even being completely irresponsible about it. I think there's been like 3 or 4 times where it accidentally happened and I've made more driving mistakes while completely sober than I have in those 3-4 times.

In that order. I've been waiting for KH since I played Theatrhythm. While it wasn't my favorite game Spider-Man was fun and I'm looking forward to see how the sequel plays out. And Bugsnax might have a lot of meme value, but it also reminds me of Viva Pinata, so I'm hoping to unironically enjoy it.

It's seriously crazy how easy it is to accidentally end up driving while you still have alcohol in your system.

There's been a couple times now where I got drunk the night before and still felt it despite having to go to work the next day.

Objectively wrong

Nah my current job is overly regulated because they don't want a union and it's a shit show. Call offs are overly frequent, requiring the employees that regularly show up to double productivity. Overtime is generally not allowed at all, even for those who need it and if you're working full time. You have no leeway over your schedule

It's totally tragedy of the commons. Working in arts absolutely should not require more effort, but if your coworker is working 20 hours of unpaid overtime a week because PASSION then your boss is going to judge you against him.

Well that's going to happen in any field. The people doing extra work are generally the ones getting it with raises and promotions.

And I was totally in agreeance that the current conditions are insane. I just don't think the arts should be held to the same standard as 'normal' jobs, because that's how you lose out on the art. Especially if overtime stops being an option entirely or you're not allowed to do some work at home. I agree the corporations need more regulation, but too much can be bad.

Why?

Because when working with the arts you're working with someone's vision and your goal is to help that vision come to life. If you're not willing to put in time and effort to help make a vision come to light why are you there?

There's a ton of jobs that are easier to get into as well as pay more and have better working conditions. So there's really no reason to work in the arts unless your passionate about what you're doing.

To be fair though many of the corporations doing this like EA and Blizzard don't really care about the art anymore and are just in it for the money, so yeah corporations can still go fuck themselves, but ask any successful independent artist how much they had to work to get to where they're at and it'll be well over 40 hours a week

I'm so happy Invisible Man did this well. I was actually dating a girl who had just left an abusive relationship when this was in theaters and you could really sense the same type of fear.

The fear of him potentially showing up outside her house or job was absolutely debilitating to her and seeing the same fear being reflected on screen was really powerful. Especially since Griffin was actually there for most of the movie.

It's kind of a shame none of my friends really picked up on the nuance of this film, because it's easily one of the most powerful horror movies I've seen. It constantly reminds me how all fear is based in reality.

Because despite being overall positive unions can also have a negative effect on the workplace. So if game companies can actually start treating their employees well you eliminate the need for one.

I think the main reason this has gone on for so long is because people who want to make games would much rather spend 100 hours a week working on a game than 40 hours at a 'normal job' while trying to make the game at home on your free time. It seems like either way you're gonna be working 100 hours a week.

That said the gaming industry does need to get their act together and start treating their employees better or unions are going to get involved.

I like 2 more than the original, but I'd say they're both very flawed.

1 feels like the more complete game, but you have to deal with the padding. 2 on the other hand has very little padding, but it really just feels like a series of boss fights and can be a little unsatisfying

I think what's even more horrifying about Gacy (as well as serial killers in general) is how glorified they are in our society. Despite being bottom of the barrel scum, they have had a wide range of influence on horror as well as a litany of documentaries that are insanely popular. It really makes you wonder about our human culture as a whole.
