(Also Instability doesnt seem to be a threat right now anyway so Stable probably wouldnt have even helped at all) Then they added another pitcher to the rotation with terrible stats, which means their one good pitcher is playing less frequently than before. Home Field Advantage will probably win a few games for them, at least. Tigers made out pretty good, as did the Pies. Crabs didnt get any blessings, but they didnt get any worse either, so they will definitely be in contention again. --- |

But they have a higher positive variance too  The damage reduction caused by not having full health happens after this calculation, so that's why it probably has to be a full-health Infantry for it to work on a Megatank, and even then it would only be a very small chance. I've barely tried using Nell and Rachel, I took one look at the luck based stuff and decided I wouldn't be risking that, not my kind of play style. I guess the chance based stuff is actually good in this game? I still have much to learn clearly, but I'm having a great time with it anyway.Luck means you may randomly do more damage sometimes, but will never cause you to do less than the expected amount. Technically all characters have a small amount of luck to be able to do 1HP extra of damage, Nells natural luck is just better and she and Rachel get even more during CO Power. The only characters that have a chance of having bad luck are Sonja, Flak, and Jugger. --- |

There is also a Work Order that gives you an additional die for rerolling rewards whenever you pick up a key, so that keys might still be worth picking up depending on the situation. --- |

| WazzupGenius00 09/24/20 2:07:29 PM #12 | My biggest piece of advice is get Athena's deflect dash literally every time it comes up. Easily the best "main" boon in the game. If you're able to get any two of Hangover/Weak/Chill in a run, the "Privileged Status" effect of the mirror can be really powerful so boost that up (other status effects work for it too but those three are usually simplest to get and last long enough to actually be of use for Privileged Status) If there's a specific build you want to go for, swap keepsakes between layers (once you've unlocked the ability to do so) to force certain gods to appear. There are only a few keepsakes that you would want to keep equipped for an entire run anyway. Double Boons and Hammers should always be priority picks. Though if you pass up a Hammer early in the layer you have a pretty good chance of coming across it again later. Early in the game I would also make keys a priority, later on you can start to ignore them. Chaos boons can become very powerful if you manage to stack multiple of them that affect the same damage source. --- |
