Dynamic Difficulty is when the game secretly makes itself easier or harder depending on your performance. The Devs want you to enjoy the game so they adjust the difficulty of the game as you play to accomplish this. How do you feel about this?

I personally hate it. If I want to beat a hard level, I want to beat it at its peak difficulty. I dont want it to get easier under the hood

So the first chapter I have Gilbert as an NPC, he gets Insta-killed by the boss before he can even move LMAO. Also, if I wanted to try to make Lorenz work... what would be the best path for him? I dont mind using him on Hard since it doesnt really matter but I legit dont even know what to do with him

I beat my first Headless. I then fought the Corrupted Monk again. Even with 3 lives, I found that boss fight to be very easy. Very satisfying deflecting all of those attacks. I guess I can buy divine confetti now

the headless aren't as tough as they seem. you just have to remember to use divine confetti and take a pacifying agent or drink the purple gourd. their attacks are pretty deliberate.

interested to see how you fare against the final boss. easily one of the best in the game.

What is the best prosthetic tool for this fight? Its hard for me to find a consistent opening during second phase to use the Fire Cracker. If anything, I feel like Im leaving myself open. Maybe just the Shuriken to Dash combo is the best?

Yea not that attack. Just his general attacks. I would just end up not locking on randomly then my back would be toward him as he just destroys 95% of my health. I just try deflecting looking like an idiot as I take a sword in the back

She was the first boss I fought and holy shit would it have been an easier fight if I upgraded my attack once. I guess it helps that I'm also better at the game now, but damn.

Exactly. She was my first boss. I got slaughtered for such a long time. I was afraid to use Snap Seeds so I never did LMAO

I didnt struggle on any of the bosses for that long, but then couldnt beat the final boss and eventually gave up.

The only one I have been stuck on for this long so far was Lady Butterfly. Apparently I fought her super early and made it very hard on myself

I feel phase 2 is easier than phase 1 because he gets a couple new attacks that leave him wide open for punishment.

Imo, he's not the hardest, but definitely top 5.

I was honestly holding up pretty well in second phase so you might be right. I completely forgot about using my prosthetic tool too which surprised me. Also, I havent bothered using the Combat Arts. If he amazing in this fight. Dodging the sweeping attack and activating Ichimoji mid air makes it impossible for him to block. Maybe I could land both blow if the Mortal Blade like that if I had more Spirit Emblems

He's the hardest but most fun boss IMO

He is fun but really hard. I stopped using the Mortal Blade because Im actually under 100 Spirit Emblems now. So its back to the Ichimonji. I havent used Fire Crackers either because I feel I need to save them for the 2nd phase. If he is the hardest, then I guess Ill have an easier time with the rest of the game

So I feel like Im getting close to the end of the game. Ive been doing quite a few side quests and I pretty much ended up fighting OWL again in the past. This guy is slaughtering me. He is nothing like the guy I fought on top the castle. Im starting to get use to him some but I only got him to 2nd phase once in about 15 deaths. I feel like I have to be perfect. He is crazy

Lorenz will never be anything but mediocre. Which is honestly the destiny of most mixed offense units, particularly in this game, due to the skill system.

There just isn't enough room to have the Faires, the Blows, and the weapon proficiency skills needed to he good at magic and physical damage.

My recommendation is drop Lorenz and grab a different cavalier (Sylvain or Ferdinand) to replace him. If your Bylass, Sylvain is the easiest recruit in the game. Alternatively, you can just grab someone like Catherine pretty early and start her down the path of Falcon Knight (Brigand for Death Blow, Peg Knight -> Wyvern Rider -> Falcon Knighy) to replace him as a mobile physical attacker.

Marianne is a deceptive unit. She is clearly set up as the house healer, and she can function in that role since ultimately she does have Physic, but her stats and spell list would really have her operate as a primarily offensive magic user. Raise of faith enough to get Physic, maybe Silence, and then put her on the path to Dark Knight (Monk-> Mage->Warlock->Dark Knight) is easy with her proficiencies. Grab Lindhart or Mercy to make up for your lack of healer because both have a much better faith list. If she really is getting hit by the RNG stick she makes a good dancer.

Im actively trying to recruit Mercedes in this play through. Marianne already has silence for me. I just realized that I havent raised her Reason at all. Its still early so I can work on that. I actually have been mainly working on her riding skills the entire time which explains why she has no reason. Also, Ill drop Lorenz but I dont feel like I need to get another Cavalier. It just isnt necessary. It might be different on the hardest difficulty but that is probably it

I would argue you down but Bad Company 2 hasnt aged too well. It needs to be remastered/remade. BF3 is a great BF hand too however, I would take BF4 over it slightly. I think because it has more destruction

Is Lorenz suppose to be so... meh? Its weird. Marianne isnt great for me right now but I feel that she is just getting RNG screwed. I guess she keeps praying to the wrong goddess lol. Lorenz is a different matter. I feel like he is getting his stats. However, he just seems too... balanced? I guess? He doesnt excel at anything. His speed feels like it will never be good enough to double anything. He wont one shot anything with combat arts. His defenses are nothing special either. I dont even know what to do with him. Being mediocre in strength and magic doesnt really mean much of anything

Long story short is that Predicted Yield is fixed and relates to quality if items. Cultivation determines quantity of items. So if you are tight on cash, maybe on spring for the Pegasus Blessings on the good yield weeks.

Here is a question I always had. When Gardening, is the amount of money spent on Cultivating relevant when the Predicted Yield is the same at all tiers? Would just just be wasting Gold picking the highest tier if I have the same predicted yield at 0 gold?

This article flew under the radar for me but it looks like many thousands are starting to switch parties. I heard someone mention today that over 10000 republicans left the party in just Arizona alone so it is probably still rising. This started after the Capital Riot.

More than 30,000 voters who had been registered members of the Republican Party have changed their voter registration in the weeks after a mob of pro-Trump supporters attacked the Capitol an issue that led the House to impeach the former president for inciting the violence.
The massive wave of defections is a virtually unprecedented exodus that could spell trouble for a party that is trying to find its way after losing the presidential race and the Senate majority.

It could also represent the tip of a much larger iceberg: The 30,000 who have left the Republican Party reside in just a few states that report voter registration data, and information about voters switching between parties, on a weekly basis.
Voters switching parties is not unheard of, but the data show that in the first weeks of the year, far more Republicans have changed their voter registrations than Democrats. Many voters are changing their affiliation in key swing states that were at the heart of the battle for the White House and control of Congress.

Nearly 10,000 Pennsylvania voters dropped out of the Republican Party in the first 25 days of the year, according to the secretary of states office. About a third of them, 3,476, have registered as Democrats; the remaining two-thirds opted to register with another party or without any party affiliation.
By contrast, about a third as many Pennsylvania Democrats opted to either join the Republican Party (2,093 through Monday) or to register with no party or a minor party (1,184).

Almost 6,000 North Carolina voters have dropped their affiliation with the GOP. Nearly 5,000 Arizona voters are no longer registered Republicans. The number of defectors in Colorado stands north of 4,500 in the last few weeks. And 2,300 Maryland Republicans are now either unaffiliated or registered with the Democratic Party.

In all of those areas, the number of Democrats who left their party is a fraction of the number of Republican defectors.
Several local elections offices in Florida reported a surge in registration changes in the days after the assault on the Capitol. Two counties in the Miami area reported a combined 1,000 Republicans registering under other labels in just the two days after the Jan. 6 attack. In those same two days, only 96 Democrats switched parties.
Three counties in the Tampa Bay area reported more than 2,000 Republican voters registering under some other partys banner. In those same three counties Hillsborough, Pasco and Pinellas just 306 Democrats switched their affiliations.
So many voters switching parties absent a pending deadline has piqued the interest of elections experts. Most people tend to stick with the party with which they initially register, and those who do change are usually motivated by a looming primary election.

Usually, absent a primary election that would induce people to switch parties so that they could participate in that primary, you dont see much activity in party registration, said Michael McDonald, a voting and elections expert at the University of Florida.

Only a small handful of states report voter registration data on a weekly basis. Others report monthly activity, and many states do not report granular details about those who leave one party or the other. Once more states report party registration data, the true number of Republicans who have re-registered in recent weeks may prove to be much higher.

McDonald said those who would take the proactive step to change their registration are likely to be well-informed voters who both follow the news and are aware of the process by which they would change their actual registration.

These people who are doing this activity, they are likely very sophisticated voters. Theyre highly participatory, most likely, he said. If youre sophisticated enough to change your party registration, youre somebody whos likely to vote.
Some of the data suggests the Republican exodus is happening in the suburban counties where GOP candidates and former President Trump struggled so much in both the 2018 and 2020 elections.

About a third of the Pennsylvania voters who dropped their affiliation with the Republican Party are registered to vote in Montgomery, Bucks, Chester and Delaware counties, the so-called Collar Counties outside of Philadelphia that once decided the balance of power in the Keystone State. Those counties have trended increasingly Democratic in recent years; President Biden won 58 percent of the vote in Chester County, the best performance ever recorded by a Democratic candidate there.
By contrast, Republicans picked up more former Democratic voters in places like Berks, Luzerne and Cambria counties, exurban and rural areas where Trump did better than previous Republican nominees.
Trump scored 68 percent of the vote in Cambria County, home of Johnstown and ancestral Democrats once represented in Congress by Rep. John Murtha (D). That tally was better than any previous Republican nominee, besting even the 66.5 percent Trump won there in 2016.

McDonald cautioned that the number of voters switching parties overall was relatively small the 10,000 Republicans who fled in Pennsylvania represents a tiny fraction of the partys almost 3.5 million registered voters in the state, for example. But the figures represent a reversal of registration trends that were taking place before Election Day.
Prior to the election, the trend was in the opposite direction, there were more Republicans that were registering, McDonald said. Its not just like its a little blip, its also a blip in a different direction than weve seen in previous years.

I mean come on. Why do I need to angle it a certain way and keep it like that to put air in my tire instead of letting it out? Its super fucking annoying. Also, why havent we advanced in our tires to make it easier to see our PSI? That should be a standard for every tire so I dont have to search hard for it as it blends in while being in small print.
