I countered your claim with a source that I personally don't like to use but did anyway to demonstrate that protesters were working to put out any fires that were set. Is it because, as is crystal clear in the video, the protesters patiently waited for the door to close and the authorities to leave, and then kicked and knocked against it? If their intent was to break down the door, why didn't they rush through when it was already very clearly open?

As for the "tore protective boarding off buildings", I see a video of one man removing a piece of the barricade that was put into place by the authorities. Do you have any proof that the man's intent is to vandalize the business the barricade is in front of, or perhaps his intent is against the barricade itself? Surely if the man's intent was to vandalize the arcade, there'd be footage of that, no? Hey, here's a thought. Perhaps the man in question is an employee of said arcade? We'll never know for sure, but you seem to have made up your mind already.

You see what happens when you rely on non-credible sources for your news? You don't get the entire picture, you make up the gaps, and you say you have facts when in reality you're making up the in-betweens.

Either you truly are a new user and don't quite understand how things work around here yet, or you're a previously banned user going right back on your bullshit.

Historically speaking, it has a lot to do with when they were first created. Iron Man was created in 1970 whereas Batman was created in 1939. "High tech" superheroes weren't really a thing back then as we weren't in the nuclear age yet. So Batman was more of a dashing rogue, using his wits and skill where his enemies would be the ones trying to use technology.

But if you want to get into the characters, Tony Stark started fighting crime after being captured and losing a new friend as an adult, whereas Batman saw his parents gunned down as a child. The trauma is different, and the effects on one's mental health are also different. Batman has in the last few decades been observed as mentally unhinged, and the fact that he goes relatively low-tech in his crimefighting may be a sort of death-seeking for him.
