I liked yesterday's slow trickle of saves making it easy to decide when to save and not panicking about making the wrong call. How many saves is it gonna be today, 24? 23 saves Day 97 25 saves Day 98 You would think the increase from 22 to 23 saves wouldn't be much... but looking at it the other way, max possible saves go down from 109 to 91. Considering we routinely get 60 saves in the first hour, count up the number of saves that happen on page 1, and you can do the math. |

No better time than right now to post this. andylt posted... Martin I worry how you will react when Tifa exits the contest. Or for that matter how you'll react if she wins. Easy - 2nd part of the video and 1st part of the video respectively, lol. If she wins I'm coming back 1 more year for Sephiroth/Aerith here and LoGH in SMFAS and quitting everything forever thereafter. Though realistically next year should be the last year in any case, when it's fun, it's fun, but the last 3 weeks not so much. My personality just isn't suited for stuff like this, it's obsessive and unhealthy and I can't turn it off, at least at this time in my life, but probably ever. ...though that's how I feel right now and I'm sure I'll be right back here 12 months from now again, lol. |

I know you did two batches and one had Seymour and the other had Delita so that's somethin. Original top 5 prediction (Day 17): Kefka Squall Seymour One FF4 (likely Kain) One FF7 (likely Aerith, though Tifa preferred...) Updated top 5 prediction (Day 80/top 20): Kefka Seymour got the "shift" needed with a few extra savers. Red's run ending early, I definitely miscalculated the support shifting. Kefka's end was a big surprise but again, think he had a few backers who were still working on still-alive characters... and Aerith, well, yeah. Still funny how the ~80 round ago prediction is 3/5 and the revised recent one is 2/5. I nailed the Delita prediction though, and he is undeniably the #1 strongest character remaining in the top 5 at the moment. |

I look back on the battle system now thinking how frustrated I was in the first playthrough, because there was a real learning curve, and frankly I was just not playing the game properly. Really just user error. Once you get the hang of it, it flows so seamlessly and is really a delight... and hard mode is really a great experience too. Just 6 more months until the PS4 exclusivity window is over, hopefully there's a PC/Steam release right then on April 9 so more people can experience it... |

Alternatively they don't go the "surprise" route, they let us know that right from episode 1: he's watching the tv show/news coverage/whatever, they're talking about the serial killer and the motif he uses, and it's something that relates to Harrison's childhood so only Dexter would recognize it. Dark passenger reawakened and that's what gets him back in the game. Ok I like that plan more than the obvious reveal. |

PerfectChaosZ posted... Is it set in Oregon? No details on story or what "coming back" means but let me trot out my television (and Dexter) cliches -Show starts off in the "present" (Oregon, still logging?) -Dexter hears about serial killer in news, dark passenger reawakens for whatever reason -Back in the game, goes to city (maybe Miami?) to track him down -Periodic flashbacks to some case which is how we get Deb and the Miami crew into this series -Finally catches serial killer, spoiler: it's his son At this point I'd be surprised if they didn't go the "son's a serial killer" route. |

And I'm very limited in my gaming anyways, only time I ever played fighting games was like, MKII, SFII and the original SSB at friends' houses back in high school. Ah, Dissidia on the PSP I guess, that's it. I'm pretty much just an RPG guy, very little branching out... Shadow of the Colossus, ICO, Silent Hill 2 and sitting on unplayed Last Guardian and Death Stranding. MGS and Katamari games back in the 2000s. Can't immediately think of anything else anytime recently. |
