Trump's lead has recently narrowed in GA, but it doesn't appear to be enough. Same with NC. I feel confident Trump will take NC and GA.

Wisconsin, Michigan, or Pennsylvania. Currently, Wisconsin seems the most promising (according to Google) with roughly 88% reporting and Trump currently at roughly 51% to Biden's 47%.

Assuming Trump holds WI, he still needs either MI or PA. He has to win ANY two out of the 3, assuming Biden takes AZ which looks likely.

Definitely still has a chance. It looks extremely likely AZ flipped for certain, and Trump won that last year. It's the first big "pretty much" confirmed flip for Biden.

WI, MI, PA... we will see what happens. But Trump losing AZ certainly hurts him

Share the info you may have about what states you are concerned about.

North Carolina looks a bit troubling for Trump right now. He won it last time by almost 3%. He's currently down by almost 2% with 82% reporting.

Florida's polls close at 7pm EST, if I'm not mistaken. We should start to get results soon afterwards. This very well could set the tone for what is in store for the rest of the night/the coming days.

Yeah, my friend kept shitting blood thanks to internal hemorrhoids. They used little elastic bands to cut off circulation, and then they dropped off and he pooped them out.

Thanks, I appreciate it. The worst part is that I had just cut down on my drinking to begin with. The Kahlua was just a party trick, I had a ten pack of low carb cider to drink afterwards. After my hands started buzzing I couldn't drink anything else.

I did have premixed bourbons before that, so that's even more sugar to consider.

It's been poor for most of my life, but I'm trying to slim down and eat a more balanced diet.

It didn't stop me from fasting on water and almonds for the last two days - I was gonna get food with a friend of mine who moved back home recently, and shit kept happening and the time kept getting pushed back. We finally got kebabs yesterday evening, so I'm eating like usual again haha

Drinking in excess obviously isn't good, particularly on a regular basis. And I'm saying this as someone who probably drinks more than I should. Clearly I'm not a doctor, so don't take what I'm about to say as any professional or knowledgeable advice:

Alcohol depletes your body of nutrients and water. Adding sugary alcoholic drinks I think would only make it worse. High sugar intake along with high nutrient and water depletion. Maybe try to find drinks that don't contain crazy stuff in them? Just stick with beer or wine or a similar alternative?

I also think you should have more than just almonds and water. That doesn't seem like a high calorie intake, and humans certainly require hundreds of calories (and into the low thousands sometimes). I don't know the specific types of foods you've been eating or whether or not they were typical fast food or frozen, but it's definitely crucial in my opinion to eat greens. Have a salad once a week. Get fish somewhere once a week. Eat your meet, get an order of green beans with a dish you may order. It's important to diversify. You don't need to go health crazy (maybe I should though and you too??) but I think there's places to start if you aren't already diversifying.

So we allow empty land to be a hugely determining factor in the elections instead? The majority of the population gets screwed over by large chucks of land with smaller populations? And nearly every election comes down to the same few swing states being the deciding factor.

I'd have to revisit which states get the amount of electorate votes. Admittedly I'm not the greatest with numbers and I have heard that some people feel certain states have more electorate votes than their population would allot for compared to other states, but I can't remember specifics or what the specific reasoning behind it is if there is a percentage difference. If there is a difference, would that mean the electorate votes aren't purely determined by population and there is another reason behind it?

If they are eligible to vote, they have a say. That is unless they are a Democrat in a red state, or a Republican in a blue state

That's a fair point. I can see it from both sides. But I would still lean towards the EC given the way our states are set up and it's something that seems to be intended by the founding fathers. I do take comfort in knowing that even if you're a Democrat in a red city or a Republican in a blue city, your vote still counts towards the state's. If it were 1 person 1 vote, the higher populations in select areas would determine it and I feel it just doesn't give everyone a representation. There's people with different experiences and different needs that are nowhere near a city.

  • I'm saving easily over $1,000 each year because of his tax cuts. It's not life changing, but it's more than I would have had otherwise and some larger families are literally saving thousands.
  • It bothers me to some degree how our government has become full of insiders that make a lifetime career out of it. Trump was and still is an outsider. Though he's wealthy and well connected, realistically, how is a middle class outsider ever going to win? I think a shake up is good.
  • I supported his idea of a wall to help curb illegal immigration. Is it impenetrable? No. Will it help? Absolutely. Is it crazy unreasonably expensive compared to some of the other things we spend money on? No. I always found it odd people claimed they didn't want it because of the cost. I think they didn't want it for other reasons...
  • I support his past and hopefully future Supreme Court picks
  • I support his idea of staying out of wars and conflicts that drag on for years and years. I think we've done a pretty good job overall regarding that.
  • Buy American, Hire American, America first. I don't think these things are unreasonable, but felt he was the only one saying it at the time. I sometimes feel like patriotism has become a "bad" thing in recent years. Doesn't make sense to me.
  • To me the left has gone further left than the right has gone further right, but we all have our opinions on that. I feel I just cannot get on board with some of the things I perceive the left to support.

Dislikes:

  • He tweets way too much
  • He can certainly be "un-presidential" at times
  • He hasn't handled everything under the sun how I would have wished for him to. "You can't always get what you want"
  • If I could have a president less boisterous than him, I would. But that's simply not an option right now and I'm not going to simply vote for someone with a more "tame" personality on those traits alone

I'd keep the money, that's a decent profit for only a $2 ticket. Was it a scratch off? Those have terrible odds, way worse than some of the tightest slot machines. I think most scratch offs have a 1 in 4.5 chance of winning, which includes "break even prizes". You can find this info on the back of your scratch off. Things like Mega Millions have even worse odds, but obviously with the chance of winning more lucrative amounts.

I like flying, but I'd say it does make me slightly nervous. I'm not even sure if I could categorize it as nervousness, because I enjoy the flight and won't hesitate to get on the plane. But when I look down and realize we're traveling 30,000 feet high at 500 mph and it's -40(F) it just makes me think we shouldn't be doing it. It's pretty magic in a way.

What parts do you like the most? What parts do you hate the most?
