Also joking about someone being creepy/weird is no way near the same as trying to defend actually being one. As for on topic. I agree that the imagery/message looks messed up without context. The other person was talking about fan art. In general, people on here will basically insinuate you're a pedophile if you like any anime at all where the characters look younger. Did the characters that were shown look like minors in that topic? Yes. However many people called him a pedophile with no basis. That was the "nerve" if you are so desperate to be correct or to think that it bothers me to admit that pedophilia accusation (the baseless kind) upsets me. Again, did they look underage? Yes. Was anything sexual at all said about those characters? No. The person merely said they were a fan of the series. However, I have not seen that series myself. So anything beyond that I wouldn't get. It was my first time hearing about that particular anime/manga. But the accusations came off as completely baseless. Here it's a joke about child rape. I clearly struck a nerve because you come off as upset despite being in the wrong here. What a surprise that toxic people on Gamefaqs call random people pedophiles but if I call people out on them laughing about it, then all of a sudden I'm butthurt and "mad." All of you argue in the same way. A good healthy way to have a discussion would be to actually counter that pedophilia and child rape maybe isn't funny. But instead you make it personal and try to make me look like an idiot by saying that I got mad. Everyone argues the same shitty way on here instead of having a real discussion. With that said, do you know why I called it out here? Because it's ironic. That's why. Guess you missed that even though you clearly saw me in the other topic and couldn't put two and two together. I doubt I'll be coming back in here to read the passive aggressive reply that you'll be typing up afterwards. If the pedophilia bothers you and you're already being baseless in accusations at least be consistent about it. Child rape is not funny. I enjoyed Dante being in Nocturne in 2003ish (when I played the game) but we really don't need DMC2 Dante in 2020 in Nocturne. Honestly, because of the memes, and the fact that Dante is more recognizable it kind of makes SMT III look a little bad now because it looks like it needs a popular character on the cover for it to be cool. Dante on the cover of SMT III got me to buy the game when I had no idea what SMT was but the world is different now. It doesn't need that kind of marketing now. SMT III Nocturne is such a good game that it can stand up with its own characters. As happy as I was to have Dante in the game in 2003 when I was a kid, SMT III doesn't need Dante anymore. There's so many other games out there that I haven't finished yet. I just beat RE7 for instance. That was a quality game. Still haven't beaten Nier Automata either. Why the hell would I sit down and play FO4? And I enjoyed FO3 and NV. I can't even sit down and try 4 and idk why. If it was VR Ion PSVR I'd play it though.
