I suppose it does. I generally think of infection style zombies since thats what most of the more modern movies are. Even with resurrection style though, people would see shit rising from graveyards and most of the original swarm would be extremely decomposed. They aren't fooling anyone into thinking they are just sick alive people. That version is also always incredibly slow and shambling, easily defeated by most architecture. People also really underestimate just how much corpses decay. We'd be looking at less than 1 billion corpses with the ability to rise. Probably far less. Dead people also smell REALLY bad. You aren't letting anything smelling that bad anywhere near you whether its alive or dead.

With info spread, people have have phones and social media. It takes just one person to see a rotting corpse walking around to post it on facebook or something and then everyone knows. Most boats don't have frequent deaths on board so the info would spread to them before they had to worry about it, at least for 99%. I'm just not buying it. We are talking about things that normal civilians manage to take out 1000s of each and they start with less than the global population in an era with instant information spread.

I always wondered if the virus somehow slowed the decay. Because even in the walking dead video game, they are still around years later. And lots of them. I know there are a lot of people on Earth, but it always seems like a crazy amount to still be around...

And they do smell. I'm guessing that either it's a fresh one that got close. Or maybe seeing a certain loved one froze you, even with the smell. Though, it's hard to tell. And these days, info does spread faster. Only if because people are always recording. That being said, it would be also a challenge to know if it was a hoax or not. Even in my town (or close by), we have (or use to have) an annual zombie run. Everyone dresses up like Zombies and runs for a charity. I don't remember much about it, I just handed out water. And I think they have had stuff like that before. Like zombie parties and whatnot. Which could make it hard to tell truth from hoax... Especially since in real life, most people wouldn't think zombie could exist...

Though, in the end, it really depends. If they get a bunch of people that can't take them out (or can't take them out fast enough), their numbers can grow rapidly. Not to mention, for some reason (usually because they don't know it movies), they don't go for the head. Which makes sense. Headshots (especially with certain weapons) are hard. And if your opponent isn't wearing armor, your taught to shoot for the body since it's a bigger target.

Because gay people were dating them... At one point, at least. I don't know if it's still going on or not, though. They were apparently really mad when we said that we didn't want to date them. The thing was it wasn't everyone, though. Not to mention, it might not have been because they were trans, but because we just weren't attracted to them personally. Like I'm not attracted to every guy because they are a guy. So, I don't see why it's bad if we don't date them because they are our type. I can remember what all the post say, nor did I find it with a Google search, though someone else could. It's been months, but I think the post said things like maybe, "You aren't a real gay person or ally if you won't date a trans person" and stuff. It was kind of weird.

And while I don't care if someone is trans or not, dating is different. When I'm dating and having sex with someone, I don't care about any of that as long I find you attractive. But that goes sexually, too... I'm personally not attracted to vaginas. Maybe if it's threesome and I can get a piece of man-ass, too. But I'm not really a fan of threesome as much these days. And when it comes to one-on-one sex, vagina's aren't really an interest of mine. I'm all about sticking my dick in an ass. And I don't know if I'd want to do anything with the vagina, tbh... That being said, I'd still be fine dating and having sex if they didn't ask me to really do anything with it. It'd be interesting, tbh...

Also, I noticed that many talk about the fetishizing thing. But can't that really happen to anyone? I mean, it could happen because of pretty much anything. Race, height, weight, or whatever. I know some people who fetishize over things like people with muscles. How do you determine fetishes from preferences? And is it really so bad in all cases?

But military is different. Many of the people on my base dont even want to be here. Mainly the town, because it sucks (due to the old council). But many dont even want to be in the state. Not to mention, most of us are stuck here. Wed probably be fine if we could move to a new base every 2-4 years, but...

Season 2 was particularly egregious with the decision making. I understand they have to put things on rails a bit for the story to make sense, but a major decision shouldnt play out the same regardless of choice. Honestly, " [insert name] will remember this" was probably not a good idea. Especially considering how often someone's head is blown off after that appears on screen.

I will say, they did get better at it by season 3 and 4 though.

It was always weird when they were dying, but they still said they would remember it. Like when Pete was dying, if you try to drag him, it wont work. He has to stay and die. But it still says he will remember that. Basically saying he will remember that you tried to save him. But he does almost right after. How will he remember? Why does it matter at that point? I could understand if there was a possibility of them living, but not when they immediately die. The only thing I can think of is maybe so you wouldnt know for sure they would die. But Idk...

Yeah I loved the first game, went through a second play through making different choices and it's the exact same game. Completely defeats the purpose of a 'choose your own adventure' story.

It change some stuff, but a lot has to stay the same because of the next games. Though, things like who goes with you, or who dies first, when they die, or little things will change. Personally, I wish they would have made every single decision count to change up every single thing, but cost and time would have been high...

Depends. I think on the Walking Dead (at least the video game, havent checked show lore), if you die, you turn. So, it can easily reach on a ship. And probably spread pretty easily if they dont know early enough...

You think? I disagree. The people who are first to know are probably already bitten by loves ones like friends, family, Neighbors, co-workers, etc. And who knows of the news anchors or radio announcers even make it to work. Or know about it right when it happens. Especially if you dont know whats going on. Theres also probably plenty of people gone already. Also, depends on if they are walking or the running kind. The running kind would definitely spread faster...

They cant. But not all military equipment are just loaded constantly. I know for the aircraft on base, the only time they carry weapons is before a mission. On regular fly days, nothing is install. Same with out cargo planes. Empty unless a mission. Most military vehicles are probably like that. Its a safety hazard if just left like that. So, they may not be able to beat a tank. But the tanks most likely arent ready. And they still have to be reloaded at some point. And thats if there are people one base who can still use it. Not everyone in the military is trained on the same thing. Its really a dice roll...

It could, though. As I said, with the walking dead types, it was just dead people without the head damage a certain way would come back. And people all over the world are dying all the time. So, it could start off in many places at once.

As for how much time, it depends on whos left and where they are. If it were possible that we had the people who know how to use the weaponry, we probably could take out some of them, and millions of innocents around, as well... Bug whats the point of saving everyone if theyre dying by our hand, anyway... Really, it depends on what kind of zombies, where it starts, how long before the news can actually spread, and whos left to fight...

Edit: Oh. And probably when it happens, as well. As Halloween, it would be hard to tell, as well...

Edit 2: Time is probably important as well. Happening in the middle of the night while people are asleep, not fully awake, and cant see as well might help to spread faster. Happening during the day could possibly slow stuff down... But it just depends...

Part of why zombie moves are so dumb.

The reason they dont seem to do anything in Zombie movies is for many reasons. First, many of them act like they dont actually know what zombies are. They think their love ones or whoever are just hurt. They dont usually know about the biting. Then, it depends on if its already inside. If it gets inside the base, it can sweep in and take everyone out pretty fast. And thats just the ones on base...

Yeah. I mean, they do change whether people die early in the chapter, or later in the chapter, or even in another chapter (Like Carly or Doug), change who likes you and will do stuff with you, how someone dies, and dialogue choices. But ultimately, every dies. And I guess it makes sense. While it would have been cool to have hundreds of different stories with minute differences, that would be extremely taxing on the developers, and costly, as well...

Which is why I can lend my care to my brother, and he still has to unlock stuff on Mario Kart. And why I can go from a physical to digital or back with games and not lose my stuff. But I would still ask first...

Youd probably have much less time now that you have to take care of your family full time. If you had a place to live, its not so bad leaving you kids home while youre out. Now you have to bring them with you everywhere you go. Which can make it harder, or even impossible, to get a job...

At my job, many people have gotten sick. Same for the base. And we usually try to stick to ourselves. And the base is around 14,000 people or so. Many have been sick and quarantined. And even then, it still gets around sometimes. While I havent personally heard of any death from just this, I wouldnt be surprised. And I can even mention long term effects yet. PT test havent started back up. But there might be some long term effect by then...

Actually, its pretty common. Though, its normally if youve gotten into one. I know people when theyve had a car accident. And especially if they were younger when they had their first accident, it was scary. Many of them didnt want to even drive again. Its a scary thing. And usually, everybody is alive and well, even if a little shaken up. Most eventually do. Maybe a few continue to get rides, or take public transport, though... In this case, you have people getting so sick that some of said it felt like they were dying. Just think about how that person probably felt, and how that family probably felt. It probably feels horrible. Not to mention, we still dont know the long term effects. Like how this will possibly affect them in the long run. Didnt they already say some people would still have problems with their lungs afterwards. Thats pretty scary on its own... Especially since people can pass it unknowingly...
