I know that this post is gonna get a "why should I care" or a "tl;dr", but I'm posting this because I got the same sick pit in my stomach over this as I did when I saw Nerd City's DaddyOFive videos. That video series showcased video after video of children being abused and pitted against each other, and the dad basically manufacturing situations for him to yell at his kids and to pit them against each other for views. It's to the point that the dad is shown shoving one of his kids face first into a book shelf, telling one of his adopted kids he's going back up for adoption 3 separate times, and one of them starts showing up in multiple videos with bruises on his arms and face. And it's the same kid in each of those scenarios. Dude that Nerd City video is probably the only time I've ever been so emotionally affected by a damn video on YT. Watching those poor kids get abused really hit me hard, I had to call my parents and thank them for just being good parents lol --- The Legend is True! |

| MC_BatCommander 07/24/20 12:37:48 PM #14 | I've never played Morrowind, but I'd say Oblivion>Skyrim. I like Skyrim but it's just so shallow compared to Oblivion. I think the biggest contrast in quality I can recall is the Thieve's Guild in each game. In Oblivion you work your way up the guild's ranks and eventually commit a massive heist to literally I feel like Skyrim is absolutely rotten with this kind of shallow, boring quest design and it's my main problem with the game. I see people who've played it dozens of times and just can't help but wonder what keeps drawing them back to it over and over again --- The Legend is True! |

I just run into enemies immediately and it takes all my attention. Basically what you want to do is gather resources from mining and accessories (often found in chests, or monster drops) to progress. You progress by defeating bosses and gaining access to new areas which in turn gives you access to more powerful gear which then lets you take on more powerful bosses. The progression itself is a little cryptic without a wiki handy which is definitely the game's biggest flaw. --- The Legend is True! |
