My last point on the discussion from the end of the last topic is that it's silly to blame Fauci for MAGA idiots not wearing masks. They were never going to listen to Fauci. They were always going to only listen to Trump. Fauci made a suggestion based on the information he had at the time, and then that suggestion changed as the information changed. Trying to go "It's his fault the MAGA chuds don't wear masks now!" is dumb.

I'd say the number of people that were willing to wear a mask then and suddenly weren't after is pretty much non-existent. They were never going to because Trump never told them to.

He said they're not the "perfect protection" everybody thinks they are, which is 100% true. And within a month, when it was clear this was going to get serious and masks got to where they needed to go, they immediately evolved their stance on it.

Well, he had to talk about not being okay because he was clearly not okay. They had people come down to check on him after. Really, the only part he's trying to dispute and/or cover for is being knocked out cold.

I keep trying to find the clip but I can only find clips of the aftermath where he's getting checked on by Cody and doctors. All of the clips of it the news articles posted have all been copyright struck.

EDIT: It's kinda a silly argument, anyway. Point is whether he was legitimately out cold or just knocked super loopy, he was clearly not okay and they took too long to actually check on him. He's fine, though, so it's not a huge deal.

It never should have happened how it did but it is what it is. Everybody's moved on.

i'd find it more helpful from someone familiar with cyberpunk because that person can then better explain to you what type of game this is and break down the genre's nuance in a better, more accurate way. shortcomings would be easier to notice, the way it interacts with the game would be known better, you'd have a more complete package of what this game is as opposed to a view that isn't aware of it and will miss a lot as a result.

I'd disagree with this since it's never what happens. Instead, people that are fans of something/very familiar with something tend to gloss over details because what may stand out to others doesn't stand out to them.

Adding liability at all is the end of any level of free speech on the internet, period. And the idiots supporting it don't even get that it's not going to hurt their chosen targets (Twitter, Facebook, and so on) because those sites can very easily limit what/who can post without losing much since a majority of their users really only use them to follow mostly non-controversial celebrities/"influencers." It's the smaller ones that can't afford to fight lawsuits so they're either going to shut down completely or put enough restrictions to make it not worth posting.
