Cinema is a visual medium firstly and most importantly, storytelling and characters are not required to make a good film. Sadly most people seem to share that opinion and I'd be mentally exhausted if I challenged any slight expressions of it. Proper storytelling and characters are important in any plot-driven narrative. You have to agree that the protagonists have a worthwhile plight or are actually stand for what they're supposed to if you want to get invested. Why do you think pro wrestling died for me? Its become something of a matter-of-fact rather than a tragedy because Ive taken this flat, every life is equal view.
