How do you go about that fine line?

Well...I eventually developed a drug problem and that was more-or-less what taught me humility and moderation. Ended up homeless, then spent 10-15 years clawing my way back to normalcy and repairing my relationship with my parents.

You can't teach someone to be appreciative of what they have until they have earned it themselves.

Rise isn't a basic bitch MH like World. We should be fine I think. I love how World takes like 10 steps back and 2 steps forward but ppl dig it because the graphics are nicer and... like 2-3 things are maybe more convenient

I've always argued that World is the next logical step the series should have taken after Freedom Unite. It feels like a direct sequel, an epic RPG instead of an action game meant to be played in bites.

Basically just ignore all the shit they did on Nintendo platforms and it fits into the series perfectly.

My father retired just a couple years ago with a bit over 1.5mil, he will have to get a part time job for roughly 10 years to be able to stretch his savings.

By the time I reach retirement age (another 20 or so years), I will likely need between 2 and 3 million to live comfortably.

Probably going to be working until I die.

You're right, I was mistaken.
Either way, I'm not as worried about Rise knowing it will be on another platform eventually.

I hope it's a little harder than world. As someone with thousands of hours in this series. World never really got difficult.

Agree there though. The only thing I had trouble with was Safi but now that there's solo health scaling it's fairly easy.

Genuinely though, I'm looking forward to Rise. I am very concerned about the limitations that come with developing it for the Switch but now that we know it's coming to PS4/5 it's less of a worry. I just hope the controls don't suffer because of the Switch.

Seriously, we have a very small area of the surface of the Earth we are capable of existing on, and that's it. The safe window for temperature, elevation, and tons of other limiting factors is incredibly small. We're squishy as fuck.

I use the exact same password for absolutely every account I own.

Honestly, I gave up on keeping my information secure more than a decade ago. I've never had any kind of social media, even MySpace back in the day, but I made a Facebook account to use to log into mobile games back when that was a thing. I didn't fill in any of the personal info, used a completely new email address, used a fake name, everything I could to make sure there was no info connecting me to the account. When I logged in the "People You May Know" section was filled with people I actually know, and it's not like I live in a small town.

It's a losing battle so I just don't fight it.

My left joy con is also having weird connectivity issues these days. It does not detect it as connected when slotted into the Switch sometimes, so I need to take it out and either use the "find" function or hold down the little sync button and slot it back into the Switch.

This problem started within a couple hours of owning the system though. My left joycon will disconnect randomly on top of not wanting to connect in the first place.

False, you are never legally required to help anyone. Many states have Good Samaritan laws in place to protect people that choose to help from being held liable if the person in distress suffers further injury as a direct result of the assisting party's action.

From a legal standpoint you are always better off doing nothing.

Generally the only exception is a parent choosing not to assist their own child if it is deemed reasonable for them to have done so.
