We also got $1,200 checks under the previous administration. If it was an add on Biden would have said 1,400 + 600 from second bill. But he didn't he said $2,000 checks will go out basically that it was a different bill.

Why are people acting like Biden didn't say if you vote those Dem Senators in $2,000 checks will be out the door. He has never once said $1,400. It was always $2,000 checks.

I'm happy for the free money but we shouldn't count what happened under an impeached president for the total.

I find it really obnoxious how news articles continually call her the only woman on death row in the US. Sometimes they explain in the article body that they specifically mean federal death row, but sometimes they don't. Either way it's just not true and they should fucking stop.

Its kinda fucked up since it aims to makes her special while all the men on death don't get that type of sympathy. If she is on death row she must have done a horrible crime in first place like all the men on it.

The governor's latest proposal states that communities of color, which have been disproportionately impacted by the drug war, be given licensing opportunities and business assistance for marijuana sales. Further details on that initiative are expected to be revealed during Cuomo's upcoming State of the State address next week.
