Looking at college as a money in-money out investment is the problem

there is more to life than making as much money as possible. If youre interested in a topic, and college allows you to become more knowledgeable and involved with it, then go, regardless of any angry middle aged people going youre not going to make much money!!!

This has been thrown out the window thanks to the internet. There are some exceptions (labspace and expensive equipment), but a lot that was only available in a college 30-300 years ago is now available on the internet.

Combine that with the extreme rise in costs of going to college and you see how going to college vs. not going has become a major issue.

The "Bernie Sanders would be moderate in other countries" line is simply not true.

A federal jobs guarantee, banning private health insurance, and instituting a wealth tax are very left wing ideas. Not to mention his support of huge tax increases across the board and his strong anti-billionaire rhetoric. If you support a few of these things or generally favor these, you could be a moderate. Bernie strongly supports all of these things and more.

It's insane that some left wingers believe they are moderate (or just flat out "correct") and everyone to the right of them is right wing. You do see this mindset in extremists in the Republican Party though, so maybe it isn't very surprising.

That first line is an exaggeration. Yes it is definitely possible to get a well-paying job as a blue collar worker. But if you are not a blue collar worker the line becomes very accurate.

To be exact, it should really say "so many jobs require at least a bachelor's degree"

Your individual vote doesn't matter. Your individual vote is worth about 0% in a nationwide or statewide election. It's the trend of the entire nation that matters. Last election the voters decided that they didn't like either candidate. It was the first time since 2000 that neither of the Top 2 candidates got a majority, and it was the first time since 1980 that two third party candidates got more than 1% of the popular vote. However, Hillary still won the popular vote by the most ever by 2.1% and by all measures Biden is going to win the popular vote this election even though she lost a very close election. Biden is likely going to win the entire election as well based on swing state polls right now. Why? Because the nation dislikes Biden less than they disliked Hillary and hates Trump much more than they did in 2016.

tl;dr: shaming people for their votes in an election is stupid
